I went in to Ashley to get my hair done and had been going there for a year or so. She always did a good job. This last time I went in and said I wanted my hair two shades darker ...

I had been looking for a new hairdresser for the longest time and had never found anyone I trusted until I met Ashley! I was referred to her by a good friend of mine and I don't regret the decision at all! She is so great at what she does and is also very accommodating! I had messaged her last minute and she got me an appt within a couple hours! I will definitely continue to go to Ashley from now on! :) more

I have been going to Cheri for as long as I can remember! I sit down, tell her to make me beautiful, and laugh the entire time as we catch up! I have only wonderful things to say about Cheri and Phase II. Highly recommended! more

My friend recommended me to Ashley at Phase II and I was scared at first because I'd never been and usually when i get a wild hair to go get my hair cut randomly it never turns out the way I want it and Ashley did an amazing job, it was perfect! She's great at what she does and loves it too!! I will continue going to her for as long as I can! more

The search is over! :) 5/28/2012

It had been a few years since I had my shorter haircut, and -- in the time it took to grow my hair for Lock of Love -- my hairstylist of seven years was no longer cutting hair. Yikes! Needless to say, I kinda' panicked! I went to my FB friends and did an ""All Call"" for a proven, exceptional stylist. A few friends replied, but my friend Donna's recommendation really sold me on Ashley at Phase 2 Hair Salon in downtown Kennesaw. At our first meeting, she was totally open to my requests and questions -- and-- I had many! I only went with a cut the first time, as I was still nervous about letting someone tackle my highlights. On my second visit, we discussed highlights again, and Ashley was so kind, again offering to provide me with what I was requesting and providing great advice at the same time. On visit #3, I was finally ready!! Needless to say, I wish I had gotten my highlight sooner. Every since I walked out of her shop, I have received raves and compliments about the cut and the highlights!! If you need advice on a major hairstyle change, or if you just need a knowledgeable, patient, fun stylist, Ashley is your girl. I am so glad to have found her in my ""hour of need"" --lol. i look forward to trusting her with my hair for years to come. Thank you Ashley! :) more

If you are like me then you do your research before handing you hair over to a complete stranger. My hair defines me, may sound shallow to some, but you must know me and my hair. I have 3 ft of natural curly red (people say strawberry blonde hair). I have had friends say they only reason why I found you in the crowd was for your hair. You get the picture. I came across Phase II by searching out salons and then doing exactly what you are doing reading the reviews. Ashley answered the phone, I explained my dilemma my hair has not been touched in over a year. I need someone who knows how to manage curly hair. Luck would have it she has had a life time experience with curly hair..YAY, someone who understands. Phase II is in downtown Kennesaw right next to the library. I arrived for my appt and Ashley is just as she sounds..bubbly, happy and a joy to be around. Let's be honest, getting your hair done can be like therapy, you tell your stylist about your life and she shares hers. She trimmed my hair and did a partial blonde highlights. I LOVE IT!!! It looks as if the sun kissed my hair. She also offered up beauty tips...WEN and NBTT. If don't know what I am talking about you're missing out. Hurry up what are you waiting for..Call and make your appt..she is that I say and more!!!! more

Really liked Sarah 5/21/2012

I bought a Groupon for Phase II for cut and color. I was pleasantly surprised at my experience. I didn't know any of the stylists, so when I called, they gave me an appt. with Sarah. I asked for a trim as I have long hair. Usually when I ask for a trim, it gets chopped off more than I want. Sarah really did only trim about one inch off the length. Now I regret not being more specific giving inches instead of ""trim"", but she did do what I asked. I will need to get another haircut soon since it wasn't really enough. The color she did was red highlights and I am so happy with the color as it looks very natural. She used foil and it was very fast. I think I was in and out within an hour or so. Sarah is very sweet and seems to know what she is doing. I definitely plan on going back. more

When you get your hair cut by Cheri, you need to get business cards from her. Why? Strangers will stop you and ask where did you get your hair cut and you will hand out Cheri's business card. I have never gotten so much attention as I have since Cheri started cutting my hair. Everyone always wants to know, who did my hair. more

Phase 2 Hair Salon-Such a cozy atmosphere :) 2/24/2012

Ashley is so perfessional, and very upbeat. She did a full foil job on my hair and cut with style. She made my hair that was so unhealthy and had much new growth from hair color I had done 3 months ago, look very healthy again and gave it some style and the foil job had 3 colors that I absolutely love!!!!! (Brown,red , and blonde) This was my first time coming to Phase 2 and I greatly enjoyed the smiling faces and at home atmosphere! more

Why I Recommend Cheri... 12/30/2011

I have known Cheri for close to 15 years. I wouldn't have my hair cut by anyone else. Not only is she GREAT at her job, she is professional, friendly, and caring (and boy, is she darn funny too!). Cheri is a fine person, and it is a privilege to also consider her a friend. She cuts my son's and daughter's hair as well. The shop is a pleasant, relaxing environment and the other ladies that work there are very nice too. I highly recommend Cheri and Phase II Hair Salon! more

Cheri is top notch. She is professional, energetic and a lot of fun. The same person had cut my hair for 16 years and I recently found Cheri. I trust her to cut and style my entire family's hair. My husband is the pickiest person that I know and she even pleases him with his cut. And then not to mention I have those teenagers and she even pleases them. So I have nothing but good things to say about Cheri. Try her at least once and you will see the difference that she can make for your style. I highly recommend her for your entire family! more

Ashley Minyard is a MUST SEE!!! 12/6/2011

I first found Phase 2 Hair Salon on Groupon and went online to read reviews. Everyone raved about Ashley so I set my appt and went to see her! I can't tell you how wonderful she is! She listens to what you want, gives her opinion and follows through on all of her promises! She is a fabulous hairdresser and just an adorable girl all around :-) I've also had Sarah cut and color my hair as well and she is just as magnificant! You can't go wrong with Phase 2 and Ashley Minyard! If you're looking for a new salon in Kennesaw - look no further! more

I started going to Ashley in May and and absolutely love her. Not only is she fantastic with color and my curly hair, but more importantly, she is full of love and happiness. She ALwAYS has a smile on her face that makes you feel so at home. She listens to what you prefer and has never let me down with leaving there AND duplicating her magic. Don't waste your time anywhere else. OH! If Ashley is booked, you can't go wrong with Sarah or Sherre. THANK YOU ASHLEY! more

I think Ashley is one of the best hairstylist. I did not like anyone to touch my hair but I kept hearing Ashley was good. So i gave her a try and now i think she is awsome. I would not go anywhere else and she is very reasonable. more

Ashley is wonderful!! 10/31/2011

After having a friend refer Ashley for my wedding I have been unable to go anywhere else. The friendly service, great prices, and AMAZING results on my hair keep me coming back each time. I enjoy that I can relax and enjoy myself when I go for my hair appointment. I'll never return to the stuffy, pretentious salon where I formerly had my hair done after experiencing such great results at Phase 2 with Ashley. Looking forward to my next appointment! more
