Several times, we've had other pet sitters cancel, for legit reasons, but our plans were thrown into the air and we didn't know whether we'd be able to leave or not. Pet Sitters of Mt. Prospect returned my call promptly, the appointment to meet with the owner was easy, painless, quick. More over, at the meeting, our all too fussy dog fell in love w/her! So we left with confidence things were fine, and they were! It was as though we'd stepped out for a few hours, and we'd left on our vacation for more than 10 days. Thanks so much. We're planning our next trip & that'll be during the holidays, and our little ""hard to please"" other family member can't wait for us to leave! Thanks Pet Sitters! more

Absolutely agree with Brad K. Yep. We had several cats that normally wouldn't go near people they don't know. And Anna walked in and they were the best of friends. We knew right then and there, we'd chosen the right person. Came home from vacation & Sure enough. It was apparent the she had worked as we expected. They cats were comfortable and well fed while we were away. Thanks much Anna!!! more

Wonderful with our Daisy Mae 4/23/2012

We have a hand raised parrot, Daisy Mae. There don't seem to be many pet sitters willing to take on a parrot, let alone know how to care for them properly. Daisy Mae isn't friendly to many strangers, but Anna had a way about her that surprised me to pieces.\r \r When we came back from a three week over seas vacation, Daisy Mae was healthy, happy and very content. It was though we'd just gone to work for a day and come home in the evening.\r \r Her cage was clean and the house was exactly as we'd left it to go vacation. She even opened a box of food that needed to be refrigerated and would have spoiled had she not been so attentive to detail.\r \r Thanks much, Anna A great job! more

TERRIBLE Customer Service 4/22/2012

Pet Sitters of Mount Prospect was truly unprofessional and I would never trust my beloved pet in their care. Not only did Anna cancel our first meeting, but she cancelled our second meeting as well. Phone calls were not returned and email response was not timely. The vibes I was getting from her were already negative, so a cancellation of a second meeting within the same week only confirmed my feelings. I would not want her in my house and I would not trust her to take care of my dog, she clearly is not as interested in this business as she may seem. When I questioned her interest, she told me it might be best to contact someone else. I would not recommend and I would not trust this service, please do yourself a favor and research other pet sitters. There are others out there that will genuinely care for your pets. more

Never a problem 12/23/2011

I've used Petsitters since they have been in business and have never had a problem. They have my key and always remember to set the alarm. The cats have food and some companionship. Their litter is changed. My plants are watered if I ask and my mail is brought in. I think this is a reliable and trustworthy company and I highly recommend them. more

Very Impressed!!! 1/27/2011

Wow! My family just took a two week vacation out of the country and left our 2 dogs and 2 cats at home. It was apparent from the beginning we?d picked the right sitter. She seemed very comfortable with all and the pets wouldn?t leave her side. In fact, the dogs cried when she left after the initial meeting. There were several problems at home and Pet Sitters responded appropriately to them and let us know by phone, afterward. We just couldn?t be happier. And the ease of it all is excellent. She was recommended by a friend and now I know why. It was apparent upon arriving home the pets were taken care of very well. Thanks Pet Sitters of Mt. Prospect. more

Wonderful Experience! 1/12/2011

We have 2 cats and one very elderly dog. Once I met the owner, I knew I?d hit a home run. The ordinarily shy cats came right up to her and our dog just wouldn?t leave her alone. We were gone an extra several days and we just called to confirm she?d carry on. It was too easy!! Finally, we we did arrive home, it was as though the pets had been on vacation, also. They were so content and happy. Oh! Did I say that one of the cats is diabetic and needs insulin twice daily. And no extra charge for medication. Thanks!. You?ve made me a believer! more

They saved our vacation. Our other sitter dropped for personal reasons. When we met her I knew our puppy was in good hands. She is the first person I call before planning a trip. more

They skipped a day 5/2/2010

Pet Sitters of Mt Prospect admitted to skipping a day, leaving our cat and dog unattended. We have very strong indication that this may not have been an isolated occurrence either. I do not recommend Pet Sitters of Mt Prospect. If you care for your animals, try to find another pet sitter. That's what we are doing too. Cons: Unreliable more

Treating your pet like family! 3/18/2009

Recently, I was forced to go out of town at a moment's notice for a work assignment. Unfortunately, I did not have the time or the funds to have my puppy boarded. I called Pet Sitters with great haste and I was immediately glad I did. \r \r The staff at Pet Sitters made it possible for me to leave my puppy in the comfort of his own home and gave me peace of mind knowing that my baby was being well cared for in my absence. more
