My 2 German Shepherds were boarded here long-term while I tried to re-home them. On 4/12, after 2 months in their care, I was called and told that my male had started vomiting that morning and appeared to have lost weight. They were 'offering him yummy foods' but her was still vomiting. They said he had no diarrhea, was definitely not bloated and had just became sick that morning. I am a registered vet tech with 25 years experience, so I told them they should NOT be feeding a vomiting dog, and to withhold food for the rest of the day. If he was still sick in the morning they were to call me at work and I would come immediately to get him and take him to my vet. The following morning, I had not heard from them by 10:30 am, so I called and was told 'he couldn't stand up this morning so we took him to our vet' after they apparently called and left a message on my cell ophone, not the work number I had specifically told them to use.
