Pet Lodge is a great place to board your pets while going on a trip or for any other reason. The staff loves animals and it shows! They love on those animals and just really take great care of them! I trust them with my two cats :). Everytime I've gone there my bill has always been correct.\r more

I have lived in the area for about a year and a half now, and was a little nervous the first time I brought my dogs there, because I had never left them anywhere before. I just love the place and would tell anyone that needed to leave there animal somewhere they should leave with the Pet Lodge. My dogs have always be well cared for here and the staff is so nice.\r more

Abused my animals, lied about how it happened, fired two employees next morning, messed up my invoice three times, charged me incorrectly and still provided no reconciled invoice. Caused three vet visits which I was reimbursed for but no credit on the stay. more

I love this place! Would leave my Buddy nowhere else. They have so many people working there - it's almost like having one-on-one. Each time I drive up, I see dog walkers on the beautiful wooded trails. The people are so friendly, too! There's something different for your dog to do each day - nature walks, private or group play and even a swimming pool! I was expecting the charge to be a whole lot more than it was, too! The runs are large - not small cages like most kennels.\r more

We have boarded our dogs here for 5 years. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly cares about animals. The facility is clean. It is expensive (often more expensive than our hotel), but I never worry for a minute about the dogs. The property is large with trails for nature walks, fenced areas for playtime, a bone-shaped pool, and lots of other amenities. Highly recommend.\r more

I have worked with dozens of dogs and horses over the years raising and training them. Pet Lodge is the only place I have ever found where I can take my dogs and know they are taken care of as well as I would do myself. When I first toured the facility, I expected most of it to be good with a couple of exceptions. Every other facility I had ever toured was that way. Not with Pet Lodge. I went through the whole place and was very impressed all along the way. The people there are very knowledgeable and helpful too which makes it a pleasure to take my animals there. To top it all off, if you need training, Jeff there is the best trainer I have ever worked with. His understanding of animal behaviour is second to none. What he was able to accomplish with Lexi, a dog of mine who had spent 6 months running with a pack of dogs in the wild before we got her, was nothing short of amazing. I couldn't be more pleased with my decision to both train and board my animals there.\r more

We started bringing our dog to Pet Lodge about 3 years ago and haven't thought about bringing him anywhere else since. The staff is friendly and accomodating and the facility is incredible. Our dog, Lennox (he's a boxer), loves to go swimming in the pool and enjoys his daily walks on the walking trails when we're away on vacation. We've told all our friends about Pet Lodge and will definitely be boarding Lennox there again on our next trip!\r more

We took a tour and saw a large room full of luxury suites and standard rooms. We met Jeff, their trainer and you could tell he really knew dogs well. The staff was super knowledgeable and very helpful in providing information about the facility and reassuring me that Luke, my Beagle, was going to have a great time. I couldn't believe they had nature trails and a swimming pool - for dogs!\r more

I have been skeptical in the past about finding the right boarding facility. Many places I took tours with required me to first make a reservation and it felt like the tours were being ""staged."" It was nice to know that when I called Pet Lodge they said we can have a tour anytime without a reservation.\r more

  • Pet Lodge Pet Resort has been lovingly caring for pets since 1979.  I'm the owner, Ken Miller, and I've been training dogs for 50 years.  My manager, Jeff Hoehn has been with me for 27 years and is our training director as well.  We feature obedience training, pampereddog boarding in a pet resort atmosphere, cat boarding in comfortable Kitty Condos, professional dog grooming, caring for small aged animals and birds, and a popular daycare program, and have a nice variety of activities that our guests always enjoy if requested, including swim times in our shallow but large bone-shaped, crystal clear swimming pool, nature walks among our 13 state park-like acreage, and both group and private play times.  We also offer the option of all day swims and/or play times.
