Pet Country

I've been a regular customer with Pet Country for 6 years or more and they are the best pet store I've ever had dealings with. The owner and employee's are knowledgable about all the pets that they sell. If they don't have what you are looking for, they will find it and make sure you are happy. I've purchased several birds from them and they offer excellant grooming service, as well as Boarding service. I wouldn't Board my birds with anyone else because I know they are being kept as well as I myself keep them. Pet Country beats the other big name pet stores hands down every time. I trust them and they know me by name when I walk in the store and treat me like family. So do yourself a favor, stop by and see for yourself. 5 stars plus in my book G. Crouch more

Pet Country is a pretty unique store, in that they carry a variety of items that you can't pick up at Wal-Mart or Target. Sadly, since Pet Smart moved into town, I'm afraid that they won't have as much of a customer base as before. But, if you want to support your local business sector, stop by this store instead of the chain! They have everything from ferret cages and guinea pigs to hermit crabs and doggie beds! Definately worth the stop. more

I recently dealt with this pet shop – and was very pleased. I needed a bird, that was a bit on the unique side, though not expensive. I called a number of pet shops to explain my needs, and this was the only one that went out of their way to really try and help me. They made a point to call the breeder to see if he hade what I needed, and called me back immediately. When the birds came in , they called me to give me first chance, and really made an effort to work with us. They were helpful about providing additional information as well. And though the bird cost more from them, then some of the other places, I was more then willing to pay extra for the great service they provided for me. more
