Don't Go - HORRIBLE SERVICE 1/1/2010

Zero stars for this one! Let me set the scene - New Year's Eve...made early reservations so we could avoid the rush - dinner took 2.5 hours. HORRIBLE SERVICE - even the ""manager"" was a JOKE. Watched 5 tables get up and leave b/c it took over 20 minutes before anyone would even take their drink order. NEVER would I refer anyone to this place - it looks like a nice place from their website and even when you walk in it looks great - but as the old saying goes...never judge a book by it's cover. I'm not sure how this place has stayed open with the type of service we received. A simple apology would have gone a long way, however don't expect anyone there...not even the ""manager"" would apologize for their horrible service. This is by far the worst restaurant experience I have ever had! Happy New Year!! Pros: Never Been More Disappointed! Cons: EVERYTHING more

Talapia was delicious 10/8/2009

We started with the artichoke dip (7.95) which was creamy and delicious and served with soft pita pieces. We had a salad with the house dressing which was presented beautifully and had a unique flavor to the dressing. My husband had the Filet ($25.99) which was done perfectly, along with the gratin potatoes which were seasoned well. He wasn't thrilled with the flavor of the vegetables though, some spice didn't agree with him. I had the blackened talapia ($18.99)over cheese grits, julianned vegetables and clams which was wonderful. I asked for easy on the blackening and they did an outstanding job of the right amount of spice for me. The forkful of talapia, grits and vegetables was the most unexpectedly flavorful taste, everything blended so great together. For dessert we ordered the sampler: Chocolate Bread Pudding (sinful, not overly rich), Chocolate Raspberry Mousse (silky and smooth), Brownie with Caramel and figs (great flavor combo) and Creme Brulee (perfectly wonderful - my husband only let me get a spoonful once). We went during their happy hour specials and my husband was able to enjoy a gin and tonic for $2.50. We had an elegant & delicious meal, beautifully prepared, with great service, for a price not much more than a chain Steakhouse. We can't wait to go again! Pros: Great Service, Great Food more

Filet of perfection... 8/11/2009

Pepper Stone's great signature dish is the filet mignon. I had it last wekend and it was phenomenal! The crust was perfect, the seasoning was enhancing not over powering, the mashed patatoes gratinee came in a special dish topped with a parmesan cheese, a medley of spaghetti shaped vegetables with roasted shallots beautifuly crowned the steak and an out of this world bordelaise sauce was a great finish, voila! Pros: great service Cons: Should open earlier than 5 more
