Pep Boys

I am writing on behalf of my daughter. I have spoken with her on numerous occasions regarding the way she was treated by your personnel during her very recent visits to the Savannah store. The service was not much better as the day after she picked up her car from you, she broke down on the highway at 10:00 pm for the same problem she thought had been taken care of. She had been there twice! Pitiful!! She is at her wits end and doesn't deisre to go back and speak with the manager, because she is "scared" of him, and doesn't want to re-live her experience.\r \r You are no doubt charged with providing a "service" to many people. How about living up to that charge, and beginning with the store manager? I wouldn't go into Pep Boy's if I broke down in the driveway, nor will my daughter. more

This place is horrible. I bought my tires here, and the service was great that day. They over-tightened a bolt on my tire, and it broke when I took my car to another place to replace my brake pads. When I went back to Pep Boys to ask them to fix their mistake, they refused. They would not even pay for the $6 bolt. Today I went to have my tired rotated, only because it was free, and I had to wait 2 1/2 hours for them to do the job. This is the WORST place I have ever been to. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!! more

I can not begin to tell you just how bad this place is. Travelling from out of town and the alternator died 20 miles outside of savannah. Thanks to a officer who jumped us off and got us to our friends apartment right before it died again. Spent the better part of Sunday trying to find someone to fix the truck. Talked to pepboy's 3 times and found that they were offering to fix for 260. Asked her twice on the phone the last time if she was sure this would include parts and labor, See we only had 600 for the whole trip!!. So we limp the truck to the pepboys jumping it off several times and finally got it there only to find out that the price jumped to 610.00. The Manager not only did not care about what we had be promised, he even made no apologies for the problem or offer any kind of fix. After calling around to two the car somewhere else we called Gordon Towning who really helped us out also and got us out of a bind! YOU SUCK PEPBOYS!!!!! more

Not only do they not know what they are doing but they also refuse to fix the problem, and then charge you for their stupidity. i had a coroded break line, and they ended up replacing all of my break lines. and messed it up so there was still a leak. so they did it again and then messed up the calibers. they needed the parts for the front breaks to fix the calibers so my father shipped the parts to savannah, perfectly fine. they man called me a couple days later and said they were broken, and then the man decided to take a vacation. they have had my car for three weeks. they are incompetent and i would have NEVER taking my car there had i known this. more

I would rather smash my own fingers, one at a time, with a ball-peen hammer than take my car to this Pep Boys again. When my vehicle began starting slowly, idling roughly and the "Check Engine" light began glowing a few months back, I chose to take my car to this Pep Boys because I could, in theory, drop my car off on Friday night and get the work taken care of on the following Saturday with no appointment necessary. Well, it's now six weeks or so since that first visit. In that time, I've had to drop my car off two additional times because the problem was only temporarily fixed. Had I not been treated so poorly during the first three visits, there would soon be a fourth, because the problem still isn't fixed. \r \r But I'd rather make an appointment elsewhere and pay more than deal with this Pep Boys again. Perhaps elsewhere, the mechanic won't throw a temper tantrum and refuse to work on my car (as occurred during my third visit). Perhaps elsewhere, the store manager won't refuse to re more
