Very Rude, Slow Service 12/30/2011

The employees at this pep boys are *extremely* rude, slow, and generally don't give a crap about their customers or about doing a good job. I had a manager laugh in my face, I've never been treated so rudely as a customer at any other place that I've been. Somebody (or multiple somebodys) at this store needs to be fired. I filed a complaint on their website, but I doubt anything will come of it. Pep Boys may do ""everything for less"", but it's not worth dealing with the a-holes; you get what you pay for. more

Poor Service No Warranty 11/15/2011

Well, here it is. I purchased tires, drive 7000 miles and had one go bad (A bulge developed in the side of the tire). A cord in the side of the tire broke, creating an interesting looking tire. I bought the Pep Boys brand tire for their 40,000 mile warranty. They said ""since you didn't buy the Road Hazard they are not covered"".. ????Huh? How does a tire did have as much as a scuff in the side be ""not covered"" under warranty? They refused to cover the tire. A massive rip-off. DO NOT GO to Pottstown Pep Boys unless you want to part with your money and receive poor products and poor warranty service. more

They always charged too much. \r \r I started going to the pep boys and they have done exactly what I have asked for, and usually same-day (I only have 1 car and a family). Prices have been very reasonable and the work was always good. Never had to go back to get something fixed a 2nd time. more

Lousy choice 8/8/2006

I have very little positive to say-the place smells strongly of tires, teh waiting area is a few chairs and a TV you can not hear as it is next to the shop, the counter area is grungy on a good day and there estimated repair times rarely are on time leaving you wiating for up to an hour. The checkout is slow and they argue over coupons. PROS: large parking lot, tires galore CONS: staff is disagreeable more
