Well, here it is. I purchased tires, drive 7000 miles and had one go bad (A bulge developed in the side of the tire). A cord in the side of the tire broke, creating an interesting looking tire.
I bought the Pep Boys brand tire for their 40,000 mile warranty. They said ""since you didn't buy the Road Hazard they are not covered"".. ????Huh? How does a tire did have as much as a scuff in the side be ""not covered"" under warranty? They refused to cover the tire.
A massive rip-off. DO NOT GO to Pottstown Pep Boys unless you want to part with your money and receive poor products and poor warranty service.
