I purchased a battery with a 36 month (3yrs) warranty.\r In 28 month's, (2yrs, 2 month) it died. I took my car down after I had it "jumped" and the recept, back to them...appare...

Don't shop there for batteries 1/23/2013

I purchased a battery with a 36 month (3yrs) warranty.\r In 28 month's, (2yrs, 2 month) it died. I took my car down after I had it "jumped" and the recept, back to them...apparently, they don't believe anyone keeps these recepts. I waited 2 hours for them to replace the battery. In the end, it still cost me $27.00 plus tax for a "free replacement battery". I asked why...just because that is the way we do things here was my answer. IMO, that wasn't a good answer!. After waiting 2 hours for them to replace a battery! My suggestion is that you don't ever buy anything from them. more

Absolute Failure 7/9/2010

went in for an oil change and engine flush. had an appointment for 4:30, arrived at 4:15 and was told i had no appointment, but they could do it shortly.. so two hours later my car is done and the cost is almost $70 more than i was told.. Staff wasn't really interested in answering my questions of why they forgot my appointment or quoted me imaginary prices or why it took so long.. incredibly disappointed.. Could have easily gone somewhere else.. regretting it now.. more

Pep boys can do almost any kind of car repair, but their prices are just like any other place. The thing that makes pep boys different is all the cool stuff they have for sale, they sell a lot of cool things you can add on to your car and their prices are really good. more
