My Dog Loves This Place 1/3/2018

The moment we take the exit at Burley Olalla, my dog gets so excited. She can't wait to get out of the car and go inside. She runs right up to the workers for love and pets. They take amazing care of her. They have no issue with her medications and they suffer through bathing and grooming her without complaint (anyone who's got a Husky who hates bath time can imagine the fuss she puts up). Overall, I have no problem and have never had a problem with Peninsula Pet Lodge. I will happily continue boarding my dog with them. more

Do NOT take your pet here! 8/18/2010

My experience the lodge was traumatizing. The lodge lost my dog in approx. 24 hours after dropping her off. They did not contact me nor my emergency contact. I discovered she was missing when I arrived to pick her up 72 hrs after her disappearance. I found my dog 11 days later, 3 miles from the lodge, starving and traumatized. She lost 30 lbs and was just skin and bones. I feel fortunate to have gotten her back, don't let something like this or worse happen to your pet! more

Questionable customer sevice, good care. 9/6/2006

Poor customer service. I waited 15 minutes (no one was at the front desk) just to have someone start checking us in when we dropped off, we finally had the dogs checked in and dropped after being there for an hour. Unsolicited opinions on everything from food to your pet's behavior. I do have to say that I was very pleased with the condition of our dogs on pick up and the care they provided. So if you don't mind a wait and other people's opinions they do provide good care at reasonable prices. more
