We went to a dinner party here. They served it buffet style. It looks like the servers weren't prepared for this type of serving. We were all cramped in the back. My friend hosting the party looked really stressed about it. She tried to ask the owner for more space to sit people, but he said NO. He said he had a business to run so he needed as much space as possible. The worst part is that the rest of the restaurant never filled up. There was never a wait for the other customers. I know they paid for a lot money for the food and service but it looks like the owner was just greedy. It was hot and humid, maybe they wanted you to feel like you were in Malaysia. Everyone was fanning themselves with the paper. You could see sweat on people's faces before the food was served. We waited over an hour for the food. It was good food though, my favorites were the coconut chicken and kang kung with garlic. All the dishes were really authetic malaysian food. The pandan ayam, penang char kway teow, hainese chicken, penang jumbo shrimp were some other really great dishes. The food was really great, but some of the food ran out quickly while others were overflowing. I would think the food should always be replenished at a buffett. I guess I would probably eat there again but NEVER have a dinner party there.
Pros: authentic food
Cons: moderate service, bad for group events
