Editorial review from Citysearch 9/17/2014

Completely unprofessional. Doctors are not well-trained. And the front desk people are ignorant. They were asked before getting the service if they accept our insurance ,they said yeah we accept insurance, you only need to pay a $20 co-pay and that's it .Then I found a $200 bill in the mail and they said sorry it was our mistake we did not accept your insurance however you still have to pay the bills more

Mrs. 9/10/2010

I have been consistently unhappy with this office since starting over 1 year ago. When my daughter was hospitalized the Physician that visited was disorganized and did not believe me when I said my daughter was getting worse and needed to be transferred. She was worse and was finally transferred at 10:30 that night. Then I asked about vaccinations for my son. I asked the office staff to check two times, I was assured he did not need them, I showed up and guess what.... He did need some. I am done with the office. I felt like it was a meat market and I was being pushed through as quickly as possible. I am NOT going back. The doctor we liked when we went to the "meet and greet" no longer works there. Stay away!! more

Not happy 8/11/2010

I did like this office, because one of the doctors did find out what was wrong with my son, that other peds did not. However, I was very angy that when I went to make my son's 2 year well visit that his pediatric doctor was no longer there, I was never informed and the office would not tell me where she had gone, so I could go there.\r \r Also i was told their afterhours office would be open, I drove all the way out there, and it was not open.\r \r There is no afterhours nurses hotline either which i didnt like.\r \r I wouldnt recommand this place to anyone more

Dr. Quigley 5/30/2008

I have been taking my 4 children to Dr. Quigley for 26 years. As my oldest is now 26 (no longer a patient) and my youngest is 8. I do not base my opinion on staff or office managers. If, at times they did not accept my insurance, I paid cash. When my oldest daughter was a few days old, I went to a different doctor that was closer to my home. It seemed she had a cold. The other doctor gave me nose drops and sent us home. I did not trust the other doctors diagnoses. I took her to Dr. Quigley and he immediatly put her in the Hospital. She had RSV and she almost died. Dr. Quigley checked on her day and night. He made us feel like family. If I have an emergency with my child, I go to the emergency room. I tell them our Doctor is Dr. Quigley and we get the best care, in any Hospital. I have had to wait longer than I wanted, a few times. I had problems with an office Manager, some 20 years ago. I don't care one bit. It only takes one bad Doctor to hurt your child and one great one to save t more

Love the avaliable night owl clinic 1/3/2008

Of course they have wonderful regular buisness hours but they also offer a night owl clinic that is wonderful for those familys who are unable to make it during those hours. Its open from 5-8 and it works out great for me and my husband when we are unable to take off work. The above reading was inaccurate because I've been bring my 2 children there since they were born I have a 4 year old daughter and 12 year old son and we love all of the doctors and medical staff they accomadite us very well as it seems with any of there patients. more

Night Owl Clinic is Unprofessional and Callous 4/4/2007

On 4/3/07, my wife called the answering service for the Night Owl Clinic. The answering service informed us that the Night Owl Clinic was open until 8:30 PM. We arrived at the Night Owl Clinic at 8:02 PM. The administrative staff informed us that the clinic was closed. We argued that the answering service informed us that the clinic was open until 8:30 PM. We pleaded with the doctor on duty to examine our son. He had an allergic reaction. His body was covered with whelps. The doctor on duty refused to examine our son. As we walked down the hallway to the elevator, a member of the administrative staff yelled, ?Have a nice night!? This member of the administrative staff was very unprofessional. She should be terminated.\r \r Where is the compassion for a sick child? We arrived at the Night Owl Clinic at 8:02 PM. Is this the way to treat a patron of seven years? The Night Owl Clinic staff is unprofessional and callous. My son will never again visit Pediatric Consultants of Troy.\r more

Night Owl Clinic is Unprofessional and Callous 4/3/2007

On April 3,2007, My wife and I called the answering service for operating hours of Night Owl Clinic. My son had an allergic reaction, and his body was covered with whelps. Answering service told us the Night Owl Clinic was open until 8:30 PM. When we arrived at the Night Owl Clinic at 8:02 PM, the administrative staff informed us that the clinic closed at 8:00 PM. We pleaded with the doctor on duty to examine our son, and she refused. We were sent away without my son being examined. Where is the compassion? What type of business operates in such a manner? The staff was very unprofessional and did not care about the health of a patient that has been with them for seven years. My son will never go to this clinic again. more

Would give it 6 stars if I could! 11/21/2005

We took our son their on someone elses recommendation and the have been completely wonderful. They are located in Troy Beaumont (so you can valet park... key perk with a sick child). They wait time is always reasonable. They have a well baby clinic on another floor (so your 2 week old is not around a bunch of sick kids!). They have night owl hours Sunday through Friday from 5-8 (first come, first serve) that has saved us a few trips to the ER! All the doctors are great... when you call to ask a question the nurse gets right back with you. I really can't say enough positive things about this place. .. this is what healthcare should always be! PROS: Everything CONS: more
