PDQ is a very trashy business! Horrible customer service by supervisor, secretary, and crew. I would never again voluntarily choose this trash service. I am outraged by the way I was treated by these numbskulls! They missed my house three weeks in row, then FINALLY picked up after MANY MANY calls. Then they picked up for two weeks then they didn't pick up again. Not recommended. more

PDQ has truly gone to the dump!! 12/26/2006

The service I have been getting from PDQ is well below satisfactory. From speaking to others in the neighborhood they feel the same and we are currently looking for another service. My normal pick up is Monday, this past Monday was Christmas and thinking the trash would pickup the day after I put all my trash out. I called and was told they picked up on Saturday and would not be back until the next Saturday. He also stated there were not many homes with their trash out on Saturday - DUH. Now what does that mean. It means that not many knew the service was due that day. After speaking to several customers their level of disappointment has magnified because of poor service such as this. PDQ does not make provisions for their errors and could care less about their customers. I would never recommend them to anyone, friend nor foe. more

Terriblee Customer Service 10/12/2006

The female General Manager was terrible in relating to customers. My service was discontinued in error and when I called the General Manager she stated that It was my mistake. She called my house harrassing me with call after call after I hung up on her for being rude to me. I started to call the police about it. I will not recommed the company to pick up dog boo boo. Pros: They also stained my driveway with some kind of liquid. more

A HUGE Disappointment 9/17/2006

After being a customer of this company for 10 years and being patient with many missed pickups, etc, they missed our trash a couple of weeks ago. When I called them, they refused to come back and get it until the next week. After speaking with a manager, I was told they would come get it, and I left my trash out the entire Labor Day weekend and they did not come get it. I called the first business day, and I was treated in a very ugly manner and they made it very clear that I was not appreciated as a customer. While taking a drive a few miles around our house, we noticed that many houses were missed and their trash was left out all week until the next pickup as well. I can't imagine that all of these people would not be complaining as well! Funny thing is, a couple of years ago everyone in our neighborhood received letters from PDQ asking us not to switch to a larger or newer company, with their main reason being that they're a company that is locally owned and operated and that truly cares about their customers. They've made it abundantly clear that that's not the case. My contract expires this month and I will be finding new service -- anything has to be better than this. STAY AWAY!!!! Pros: Picked up other things besides whats in the cans Cons: terrible customer service and total disregard for their customer's needs more

UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER 9/3/2006

I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER WITH PDQ FOR 2 YRS AND MY TRASH HAS BEEN MISSED SEVERAL TIMES. LUCKILY I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO REACH SOMEONE IN THE OFFICE AND THEY RADIO THE GUYS ON THE TRUCK TO RETURN TO PICK UP TRASH. MY TRASH IS NOT EVER PICKED UP @ SCHEDULE TIMES. BY TODAY BEING A HOLIDAY I DID NOT KNOW IF MY TRASH WAS GOING TO BE PICKED UP OR NOT; HOWEVER I DID SEE THE GUYS OUT THERE AND IMMEDIATELY PULLED MY TRASH TO FRONT. THE GENTLEMEN PASSED MY HOUSE AND MY HUSBAND CHASED THE GUYS DOWN TO SEE IF THEY WOULD COME BACK AROUND AND WAS TOLD "NO". I'M VERY IRRATE WITH THE UNPROFESSIONALISM OF THE SERVICE AND I'M DEFINITELY GOING TO DROP MY SERVICE. Pros: TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE more

Happy customer 8/6/2006

I have been a customer of PDQ for over 20 years in Bellevue and have always found them to be helpful on the phone and willing to pick up almost anything if you call them first. I have had only 1 missed pickup and they came back and got it even though I was late putting it out. The price is very reasonable and the service above average. I highly recommend PDQ over other private concerns who are owned by huge corporations. Pros: Good service, reliable Cons: Can't think of one more

Unacceptable Customer Service 6/26/2006

No consistency in pick-up time; unacceptable customer service to include reaching voice mails/never a real person in key areas with NO call back--NO reason given and no concern--the inference is that the customer must be mistaken. Immediately changed service -- mother-in-law recommended -- very disappointed in a company that has a lot of competition. No Complaints 1/10/2006

Been using PDQ for more than a year in Bellevue. They've missed 1 pickup--maybe 2--and have come the next day a few times, but that's out of 50+ pickups and they never leave stray trash laying around. $45/quarter for a big can (and they'll take extra bags that don't fit). Very quick customer service by phone. No complaints! Pros: Value, Customer service more

if you have a choice pick a different waste disposal company. everytime we get new personnel to pick up our trash we have to train them ourselves to 1) be on time 2) go behind the house 3) put the trash can back where it was found and 4) to come each and every week at the same time.....these guys are totally LAME. more

Can't recommend this company 7/4/2005

We began using this company in April, and I've been incredibly disappointed. We're supposed to have our trash out by 7:00 a.m. on pickup day, but that's no indication of when they'll actually show up. We've had our trash picked up anywhere from 6:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. THE NEXT DAY, and neither of the next day pickups were the result of a holiday. Twice in one month 5/22/2005

This is the second time my trash has not been picked up in one month. Last time I called. No-one called me back, but at least it was picked up next day. Now it is 11 am, and it is still there. Have called and left another message. I am not behind in my payments, not overloaded, so what gives??? This service was recommended by my landlord, but I am very disappointed. more

Terrible Service 5/22/2003

I tried to get these guys to come back and pick up my trash after they missed it for 2 weeks they refused and hung up in my face. Oh well! So much for customer service. more
