Rudeness Psycho Waitresses 8/3/2009

Was a regular customer - at least twice a week. My to go orders were always the same, they knew what I wanted. Then the management change and one of the female waitresses became Manager. Now none of the waitresses are nice, most cannot speak English but they are still trying to take orders on the phone and they now tell outright lies. Tell me over the phone 15 to 20 minutes and I say fine, please get my order in right away - instead of just saying yes and hanging up, she goes into a long broken-english dissertation on how busy they are. Took sooo long to order and then this, I just kept saying please stop and go put my order in - she then puts another waitress on. By now I have driven all the way their and am sitting in front of the restaurant (my order still isn't in) listening to yet another one tell me about how busy they are - from my car I can see there is NO ONE at the Sushi bar (I want sushi) and 3 tables, period. I walk in while still on the phone with this waitress and finally say to her did you put my order in? She goes nuts on me (can you say gotcha) and then both waitresses begin pleading/involving seated CUSTOMERS (talk about psycho stuff). Turns out neither of them put the order in!!!!!!!!!! Sushi guy (who is not busy at all) is apologizing and says he will take my order and makes it on the spot - then we both go back to waitress station and wait (again) together for her to ring it up - she once again verbally abuses me and calls me a troublemaker and that I am always complaining and she can refuse to serve me (so you put me through all this hell and now you want to refuse sell it to me?) - this while another woman from a table got up and said to the waitresses "the customer is always right", another table go up and left - I paid and left - WHO NEEDS THIS PSYCHO DRAMA. Bottomline - if your going to sit at the sushi bar, it's great - if you get a male waiter, your all good, if you get a female waitperson or want food to go, allow 15 minutes to place your order, 15 minutes to put the order in and 20 minutes for the order to be made, then wait another 10 minutes to pay for it. And if you want anything stupid say a refill on rice from a female waitress - expect to get dirty looks or charged an extra $1. Pros: Sushi guys are great, food usually good Cons: female Waitstaff and Female Manager WORST ON THE PLANET more

A great place for fresh all you can eat sushi! 9/23/2008

I have been to Sushi on Summerlin probably 10 times over the last couple of years, and I have never had a bad experience there. It is a fairly small place, so sometimes when it's busy it can take a bit of time for your rolls to arrive, but if you sit at the sushi bar instead of a table you will never wait, the sushi chefs will take you order while you're eating and have the next thing ready by the time you're done eating what you have. The menu does say "all you can eat in 1 hour", but I've never actually been timed, and usually we are there for well over an hour. The service has always been friendly and familiar- it is generally the same handful of wait staff. I'm not a sushi expert, so I can't say what is high class sushi.... but I can tell you that everything here always tastes delicious and is fresh- your sushi is made to order, not set out on a buffet table. I'm a die hard Sushi on Summerlin fan! Pros: All you can eat sushi, fresh- made to order, tasty! Cons: Don't think there are any! more

THE best sushi in Las Vegas 6/30/2008

This place serves the absolute best sushi in Las Vegas. I go at least 2 times a month. When my sister comes to visit from the east coast she always makes plans to eat here. The Volcano Roll is to die for. I also love the Mexican roll. Since it is a small place, it does get busy at times, but I have never experienced bad customer service. The wait staff are always courteous and friendly. I have been coming to this place for years and would recommend it to anyone! more

Rudest Waitress I Ever Encountered 6/5/2008

This place offers all the sushi and other menu items you can eat in one hour. The problem is that even if you order your items all at the beginning, some may not come for over half an hour. The sushi order did not look correct so we asked for the correct order. After the correct order was delivered after 45 minutes, we told them that we were full. The waitress made us pay for the order and even argued that each sushi "chef" makes the rolls differently even though they are called the same thing. We tried to explain that the ingrediants were different. She refused to listen and tried to argue even more with us. Another group also said they were disgusted with the waitress. Go to somewhere else like Aloha Sushi or Makino. I think you will have a better dining experience there. Pros: All you can eat sushi Cons: Rudeness and lack of polite service more

Worst service ever!!! 5/8/2008

i used to go here all the time, but not after my last visit. the service is just the worst in the city. three of us got all you can eat, and my wife got all you can drink. we placed our order and received less than half with our drinks empty the whole time. finally the waitress asked if we wanted to order more food, and i said i would like to receive the rest of our order. she said it was still being prepared and then asked us what we wanted. she obviously did not listen to begin with and then lied right in front of us. below average sushi and terrible service. its about 30 bux for all you can eat, and i told her that i want to be charged by the 1 roll i got, not the 30 bux. she told me no cause my food was coming. i said nigri shouldnt take an hour, its 2 pieces of fish!!!. other tables were getting food like it was free. so, in conclusion i got 1 roll for 30 dollars. my wife got 2 rolls, 1 beer for 35 dollars, and my friend got 1 roll for 30 bux. needlesstosay, would never ever go back there in a million years. go to yummy sushi on lake mead/tenaya. great owner who will always give you a bit extra. thanks Pros: all you can eat Cons: grade D sushi, worst service on the planet more

Best payroll service I've ever had 11/20/2006

I'm a relatively small business owner- about 5 employees and I've had the ""local"" provider when I first started. I noticed that they had a lot of turnover and that the ones that were handling my account didn't know that much about accounting and taxes. We had multiple problems with their bank, even not being able to cash our paychecks once! I decided to change last January and went to Paychex after my CPA referred the rep to me. My rep was extremely knowledgeable, went through my business, gave me some HR things to work on, set me up with Workers' Comp (I'm saving about 25% a year) and has checked on me periodically throughout the year. I've had a couple different specialists over the year but I feel they actually know what their doing and they have been extremely accurate. I'm starting to use their online services and I can print check stubs online anytime I need to for our employees. I really like them a lot and am very happy. I can't say they are 100% perfect but anytime we need to change anything, they do it quickly and it never affects any of my employees. I would refer any of my friends to them anytime.- Joe more

Stuff your face! It's all you can eat! 3/2/2006

First off, the sushi is not the best I've had. But, it's ALL YOU CAN EAT sushi at an affordable price! Even better, all the sushi is freshly made! It's not just sitting out on a buffet table. Features an extensive variety of different sushi rolls, appetizers, and sashimi. Can get pretty busy later in the evening. If you love sushi, I highly recommend Sushi on Summerlin. Pros: all you can eat! more
