Great things about Paws Claws & All: more

A veterinarian you can trust!! 9/21/2010

Moved here from Dallas and needed someone to see my 5 year old lab immediately. Based on a recommendation from a friend , I found Paws Claws and All. They were able to get me in right away. Dr. Cunningham put me and Cooper at ease with her calm and caring bedside manner. I felt comfortable leaving him in her care. It wasn't long before he was back on his feet and up to his old self. Thanks to the entire staff!! more

Do NOT take your pets here! 6/21/2010

I took my pet here as it came recommended by a friend. Never again! In fact, I turned around and picked up my dog before they had the chance to do anything. My dog has a UTI and before I could even finish filling out the paperwork, they had a price quote ready for me. The price was a bit steep to begin with, but I know it's just a quote and that it could (probably not) be less. When I was done with the paperwork I went into the room with the vet, who didn't introduce herself or examine my dog at all. All she did was run down the list of tests that she wanted to do, which made the price even higher. The quote was $165 and this didn't include lab work ($95) or meds ($20-70). Dr. Cunningham did not ask about any symptoms or give me any explanation other than about why the x-ray is better than an ultrasound (more expensive). They took my dog back and told me to come get her between 5:30 and 7, unless they needed to keep her overnight and they quickly explained that I would need to pay for that. I left the clinic and felt so bad for leaving my dog there, that I made an appointment with my usual vet and went back and got my dog. This clinic had the nerve to charge me for a visit!!! They did nothing to my dog, they didn't diagnose her or run any tests and I still had to pay...whatever! Don't even get me started on the cleanliness of the place or the condition of the dark room they take your dog back into. When I got my dog I, of course, got the stare down...again, whatever! This place is ridiculous and they made me feel like my dog was just a paycheck for them, not a member of the family. I know vets are pricey and I don't mind spending money to make sure my pets are healthy, but for this price they really need to make you feel good about leaving your pet. So glad they didn't treat her, my vet took good care of my baby :) more

Don't do it!!!! 5/7/2010

a few years back me and my boyfriend got a baby ferret. they need the same shots and vet care as a cat. when we took rocko in to get his first set of shots, it was like i walked into a car dealership. the vet never asked me any questions, she handed me all these papers telling me to fill them out so that they can take rocko's blood for varies test, stool sample, hair sample, dental work. everything. it was so overwhelming. thank god my boyfriend was there, he literally had to yell at them to stop. he made it very clear that rocko only needed his 1st set of shots. after that, the vet ignored us, told us to wait outside after she gave him the shots. and we never saw her again. so we obviously didnt go back to get his 2nd set of shots. and it was very pricey. the place doesnt care about pet care or health, they only want your money. dont go here if you care about your pet. Pros: Nothing Cons: Everything they did!! more

Don't bring your pet here 4/14/2009

I feel bad to give any Vet '1 star', but I feel worse for ever bringing my pet here! It was the first & last time we went here. We waited 1 hour past our appointment time. Since the place is so small, our cat had to wait in the waiting room in her cage. Once we go in to see the vet for her annual check-up, the vet never introduced herself! Immediately wrapped our cat in a towel and musseled her. Even though we told her very clearly that she did much better if my husband held her. My cat naturally freaked out and bit her. And she was fine after my husband held her (duh!!!) At the end of the exam and shots, the vet said nothing until I asked... so is everything ok with her? I was so peeved. On top of that the price was more appropriate for downtown or city location. Cons: Poor communication, uncompasionate, long waits more
