Great Service! 3/20/2017

Paul Revere Revolutionary Service provided good service overall. They repaired a heating and hot water system for me. It did take them a little while to resolve the issue. However, I very much appreciated that they followed up with me. They showed up when they said they would, and they were absolutely professional and courteous while they did the work. The technician was happy to provide me with deep and detailed explanations of what they were doing and why. This was my first time using their services but I would definitely be happy to call them back if I needed. more

Technician diagnosed problem very quickly. 2/6/2017

Only problem was that the technician did not have the part he needed to fix system. He did return to the shop to get the necessary part and was able to replace it without any trouble. more

No heat call fixed fast and fixed well 1/26/2017

I have been a customer for a long time and the team does a good job maintaining my almost 30 year old furnace. In this case they fixed the immediate problem but checked beyond the initial outage reason and flushed the system which had air. more

Technician was very good. Schedule changes were challenging. 1/17/2017

Always get very good service from my technician Joe. He is polite, thorough, leaves everything neat and clean, and explains repairs and status of burner. I have to take time off from work for the annual maintenance visit which was cancelled once and then delayed several hours after it was rescheduled resulting in lost income and having to get my husband to come home to cover when I had to leave for work. I understand emergencies when people have no heat but had to wait a few weeks to get the 1st appointment and 3 weeks more to get another appointment. We were having a problem with the burner (filling buckets of water every few days) but I didn't consider it an emergency compared to customers with no heat, but disappointed in the multiple delays. more

Good job for the most part; overcharged to "re-program" my unit for a new remote. 1/9/2017

I had Paul Revere put a new blower furnace in our house, cost about $6500. I was pleased with the work, the two guys came in and did a nice job. I actually found some other competitors with lower prices, but I had worked with Skip for some other jobs and I trusted the work that he does. It took 2 days to install and it's been working nicely. I do have one negative comment: I lost the remote to turn on the heating/AC unit on the wall so I ordered another one, and the guy said he would have to come down and program it, so I said fine. The programming involved putting two batteries in, and that cost me $65 dollars. I didn't say anything but I was a little upset. I could have easily done the same thing myself. Other than that I guess we're ok. The people at Paul Revere are very reachable and I've had good experiences with them in the past; I was not pleased with the "programming" however. more

Death by Propane 1/5/2017

While the actual installation of the new propane water heater went well the problem of the propane smell was not addressed even when the homeowner queried the technician as to how the smell would last. Being told that it would go away "eventually" was not helpful. 16 hours later the smell persisted and an emergency call to this same organization resulted in the discovery of a faulty connection from the manufacturer or so the technician said. The same methods the second tech used to discover the source of the leak should have been used when the homeowner mentioned the initial smell. more

they are always there to help 1/3/2017

I've been working with Paul Revere Revolutionary Service since before they changed there name! Actually my daughter used them first, but we've been with them for years. Whenever there's an emergency, and I've had a few, they are always there to help. The last one was that we had no heat when we got home from vacation, so it was a holiday even, but the tech went above and beyond. Places were closed so he couldn't get a pipe to do the repair but he went to all the way to Lowe's to get one. We have them out to check the heating and AC every year for us. We have a contract with them, I think they call it "platinum". I think the price is reasonable, but I can't really compare it to anyone else because we've always had them. There's one person I always opt for, his name is Joe, because he's so detailed. He goes above and beyond explaining everything when he checks the system every year. I always ask for him! more

you couldn't ask for nicer people 12/20/2016

I've been with Paul Revere Revolutionary Service for years and basically any problems I have they come and repair it. They have somebody who comes here to clean and service our furnace annually. Just last week I had a problem, I hadn't been down there in over a year and there was water all over my basement up to the furnace. They came right away and cleaned it up. They're just great people. It's always been wonderful working with them over the last 15 years or so. They go above and beyond, plus they're just very very nice people. Even the girl that answers the phones and books the appointments is great. You couldn't ask for nicer people. We are very happy with them. more

Great work! 11/15/2016

The last time we used Paul Revere, it was an emergency service, and they came right away, and repaired my boiler! I was shocked at how fast it was done, and how professional the technician was with his work. I think his name was Tim, he did a great job. Another time we had them come by, and the technician Skip was great. Everything turned out great--I have a maintenance agreement for them to come out every year to look at my boiler, which is great. Just wonderful. more
