While the actual installation of the new propane water heater went well the problem of the propane smell was not addressed even when the homeowner queried the technician as to how the smell would last. Being told that it would go away "eventually" was not helpful. 16 hours later the smell persisted and an emergency call to this same organization resulted in the discovery of a faulty connection from the manufacturer or so the technician said. The same methods the second tech used to discover the source of the leak should have been used when the homeowner mentioned the initial smell.
