Disappointing 11/24/2009

This is the only ""meat market"" I have ever been to that is happy to sell what's in the case but will not cut meat to order. The 1st time I asked for about about a 3 to 4 lb. bone-in pork loin & was rudely told by the meat cutter that they come in 15-20 lb bags & he asked, ""Do you want something that big""? I brought this to the owner's attn. & he assured me that they do cut meat when requested by customers so I gave them another chance. The 2nd visit after that experience they had prime rib on sale & I asked if they could cut a couple of ribs off of 1 of the roasts in the case (since my wife & I don't need an 8 lb. roast) & I was told, ""We really don't do that"". Oddly enough, the meat dept. @ Publix right across PIB has always been happy to custom cut meat & their quality is excellent. Who'd have thought that you'd get better customer service buying meat @ a supermarket than a family owned meat market? I will not be back to Patton's. Cons: Customer service more

There is not a better meat market then patton's south of new york. I kid you not, just go in and check out the meat. Always the freshest, well trimmed, well stocked, truly professional store. That have also been recognized by the georgia dept of agriculture for cleanliness. (I read the letters myself on there walls). I have walked into many meat markets and that all are a complete joke except these guys. When a customer goes into a meat market and the counter looks nasty why waste your time this is food you'll be eating. don't buy junk only buy the best and patton's meat market prices are encredible. these guys could run a freakin franchise and make billions and billions of dollars. GO THERE AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!!! Pros: everything is a pro. they are the top notch absolute best!!! Cons: absolutely nothing - and i mean it. more
