I am writing because i was thinking about going through Patricia Bridal in Augusta for my wedding next may and i wanted to say thank you for warning me and i will go somewhere else and im sorry to hear about you guys and i cant believe she can keep going if she keeps doing that to people. more

Ok folks...I wrote a previous review about my horrible experience at Patricia Bucks (kb630). The nightmare has now ended, but not without a HORRIBLE ENDING. I thought I would give an update. The bridesmaids' dresses finally arrived the first of May. A few weeks ago, my bridesmaid who lives in Virginia called and requested that her dress be shipped. She was assured that her dress would be shipped the following day and that they would call with the tracking number. They never called and the dress never arrived. After several phone calls to the bridal shop and no dress - my bridesmaid finally called me. Since I didn't think it could get any worse - I emailed Patricia and told her I would be calling her on Tuesday at 11am and I would call every few hours after that until I receive a tracking number for the bridesmaid dress. Tuesday finally arrived and at 11am I called - only to hear that ""this number is no longer accepting phone calls."" AMAZING! I was so irrate, I left work and my father and I drove over an hour to the bridal shop. Upon arrival I am told that the bridesmaid dress was ""accidentally"" thrown out with the trash. They continued to provide excuse after excuse as my bloodpressure continued to rise. Finally, they answered my question and told me that the dress would arrive June 20th and would be overnighted to my bridesmaid - delivering the information as if it were not a big deal. Well, my wedding is on JUNE 30th!!! I flipped out - so my father had to take over. They finally gave us a refund for the dress - but it wasn't easy. My father basically refused to leave until he WITNESSED the refund in action. They continued to tell us we were making a BIG mistake because no bridal shop would be able to get us the dress in time. Patricia was WRONG again - a bridal shop in CT was kind enough to go out of it's way and call the designer. After speaking to several supervisors - my bridesmaid's dress will now arrive on June 8th. STAY AWAY!! They are AWFUL and RUDE!!!! Pros: Once again...none! Cons: Anything and Everything having to do with Patricia Buck more

It is a sad day when I am seeking online outlets to warn future brides! I have had a horrible experience with Patricia Buck Bridal! They may have a large selection, but it is not worth the risk. They ordered the wrong wedding gown, forgot to order the bridesmaid dresses, charged the credit card of a bridesmaid that didn't even place her order with them, took 3 months to refund the same bridesmaid, forgot to order the wedding shoes, and have yet to ship a bridesmaid dress - a dress that the shop received a month ago! In addition, you can count on them NOT returning phone calls, false statements and assurances and poor organization. In fact - when my bridesmaid called for the third time asking them to ship her dress the response she received was - ""Well, the wedding isn't until July"". My wedding is in JUNE and this conversation took place last week!!! The record keeping system consists of index cards with pencil markings. At one point, I was told by the owner ""your card is such a mess I can't tell what has been ordered"". How refreshing for a bride to hear. I couldn't want to get my dress out of there and now I am having my alterations done by a wonderful shop. Unfortunately, Patricia still has the bridesmaid gowns...so who knows how this nightmare will end!!! Stay away from this place!!! Pros: None!!! Cons: Customer Service, Reliability, Organization more

This shop was stuck in a time-warp: their records are kept on index cards! Perhaps I should not have been surprised when they LOST MY DRESS when we returned it to them for cleaning after the wedding. I know good shops are hard to come by in that region of Maine but if you have the time and are able to travel please consider looking for another boutique with better service.
