The pastries here are delicious and look amazing. I had them at my wedding in addition to my cake. I know the cupcake craze is big, but once you see and taste these pastries, you'll forget about cupcakes. These pastries look high-end and cost less than cupcakes. The display at my wedding was beautiful. The guests enjoyed the variety of flavors. They are delicious works of art! more

I have been going to Edie's for a few years and every time I go is the same thing. It takes a long time to get service and they make you feel like they are doing you a favor. Half the time I don't even get a thank you but a ""next!!"" when they I hand over my payment. Today the service was especially bad since I bought a cake and asked the person to write ""Happy Birthday Lawrence"" on it. She sighed, went into the kitchen and came back with a flat strip of white chocolate where it said ""Happy Birthday"" and the name I gave her, but the name didn't even fit in the space where she put it, it looked all squeezed in one corner and you couldn't even really read it. The worst part about it was that she was handling that with her bare hands and then she set it on the top of the cake and arranged it between the fruit and the rest of the garnishes. I was not comfortable with her doing that with her bare hands since she was just handling money, and the chocolate banner was supposed to be edible. I told my family this is the last time we ever go to Edie's. The pastries are good but they are not worth the bad customer service since I always leave upset. Not only do the pastries make you drool because they are so fabulous both in presentation and taste, but the ambiance of Edie's is that of a french cafe. There is outdoor dining, and the cafe itself is so beautiful you will feel that you are indeed in Paris. Great sandwiches-try the grilled vegetarian on home made panini bread, and great summer salads. Take advantage of the lunch specials-it is a lot of food!
