Passage to India has delicious Indian cuisine with an attentive wait staff and welcoming, cozy atmosphere. Perfect for a date night or a leisurely dinner. Highly recommended. more

One of the best restaurants in the 'hood. I've eaten in the restaurant and ordered takeout and have been consistently pleased with the food, value, and service. I've had many items on the menu and enjoyed them, but my absolute favorite is the chicken tikka masala. It's creamy and delicious, with chunks of tender chicken breast. I also love the samosas, and their vindaloo is quite nice, too. Passage to India offers ""special dinners for two"" which run somewhere around $30 and are a tremendous value. It's more food than two people can possibly eat. Takeout is speedy - my most recent order took no longer than 20 minutes and everything arrived steaming hot. I have nothing but good things to say about Passage to India, and look forward to my next meal here. more

Since we have moved to the neighborhood we have taken almost every visitor we've had to Passage to India for dinner and we eat here frequently ourselves. The waiter who most often serves us is very amiable and accommodating, doing his utmost to make everyone at ease. Their Vindaloo is my favorite (lamb or chicken) and my partner flip-flops between Saag Paneer, Mutterr Paneerr, and Veg korma, but really every entree I have had has been good. The Samosas are delicious. Try an Indian beer with your food; the mild and sweet style of beer plays nicely off of the Indian spices. more

I live nearby, go often, get pickup as well as dine-in service. The food is awesome, excellent curries. Service is awesome, never been crowded, prices are reasonable. My goal is to try every curry, haven't found one I didn't like yet. Naan is excellent! Check it out! more

Superb 11/29/2011

One of my favorite Indian restaurants....my 6 and 10yr old girls LOVE it too (young but foodies indeed)! The owners are super friendly, very attentive and always refill our glasses just in time..as the food is always nice and spicy...just the way we like it. (; I usually have the lamb vindaloo and my daughters the chicken masala...and of course plenty of nan. Beside the fact that the food is really yummy, I really enjoy coming here with my family because they really appreciate your business and that goes a long way. more

I'm currently laying on my side in my ""I ate too much"" position. I foolish thought that the portions were small. Nay, I was mistaken. It's more than enough food. It's also really delicious. It tastes very homey and wholesome. Also, while I've only gotten takeout the service on the phone is outstanding. They have respect for their customers and are appreciative of them, it's reflected in how they answer the phone! I am a fan :-) a stuffed fan but, a fan still. more

If you're craving Indian food, you can't go wrong with Passage to India. I got the Chicken Tikka Masala and it was done just right, great consistency without being overwhelmingly tomatoey, as lesser Indian joints are prone to do. Get the garlic naan, you won't be disappointed! more

Authentic food 11/11/2011

My wife and I came here for the buffet, and I tried several dishes that were new to me. I can't think of a single thing I tried that wasn't delicious! This has become my new favorite Indian restaurant. The waitstaff were very nice, and they make a round around the restaurant refilling drinks every few minutes. We have also come for take-out (Ordered Lamb Biryani), and the portion was very generous; more than enough for the two of us. They have a buffet every day for lunch, and a dinner buffet on Mondays. more

Passage to India is one of the excellent indian restaurant i have ever been . we ordered karahi chicken and chicken tikka masala we were asked for mild -medium-spicy.we asked for spicy and wooo we really got some good spiced and flavoured food on our table . The server was very welcoming. Everything was great and we' will be back for more.thx more

A very, very good Indian restaurant. I came here on a Sunday evening for dinner with my husband after reading all the excellent reviews. We ordered Prawn masala, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, lamb samosas, and mango lassi. Everything was good, in particular the lamb samosas, which came with three sauces: tamarind, carrot pickle, and mint. The service was excellent. The two waiters were very attentive and we will definitely go back again. more

When I come to Passage to India for their lunch buffet, I love the fact that I have no idea what anything is. I just take a scoop of everything my first time around and then on my second trip up, pick out my two favorites. Without a doubt, there are always at least two favorites. Eating this way is much more fun that trying to figure out what something is based on a vague menu description. I'd rather get a little taste of everything and then get a second helping of what I liked best. more

this place is unreal. i love indian food but am more the call for takeout kind of gal but my family took me here for my birthday and we had a great time! the decor is reserved but beautiful and the waitstaff was wonderful. we shared a few different appetizers, all fantastic and appropriately seasoned . For my meal I had the chicken tikka masala (i never deviate) and it was delicious. The sauce was the perfect blend of tomato, spices and cream and i ended up pouring it over everything else on my plate! between my family we had some lobster masala, the mixed grill, lamb sauteed with onoins bell peppers and tomatoes, and shrimps. All was fantastic! more

I am a fan of the buffet only! It is the best bang for your buck! You can get chicken tandoori or other meat dishes and you have a lot of vegetarian choices. I only go there for the buffet. It is filling and it does get busy so be there after 1:00 p.m. The decor is nice, the fragrant smell and the food selection over compensates for your surroundings. There are Indian families eating there so it must be good, I personally believe that if people of their own ethnicity eat their ethnic food-it must be good. more
