Editorial review from Citysearch 12/15/2012

Really awful service. Just ordered a large pizza. After 45 minutes they came out and asked what our toppings were. Waited another 10 minutes and saw people getting really angry at their pickup area for takeout so we just left. Have been there two other times. Nothing special but convenient. Went down the road to Bella Luna's, they were busy too but they easily handled the business. it was very good and it saved the evening. more

Not worth it! 2/16/2011

Just moved here and everyone says Pasqualinos is the best. I didn't think so at all! I am not spending my money for something I can take out of the freezer and cook on my own. That is what it tastes like! Ravoili and lasagna wasn't fresh. Tasted frozen and blah. I hate to say this but you get a better meal at Olive Garden and I'm not a fan of them either! more

Best Italian restaurant in the Pittsburgh area 12/7/2010

A friend of mine turned me on to Pasqualino's recently and they have quickly become my favorite Italian restaurant. No matter what I seem to order here, it is always fabulous. I love their homemade marinara sauce. It is hands down my favorite pasta sauce and I've even started buying it to use at home! The chicken parmesan and meatballs are favorites for my family too. Not only is the food fantastic, the service is always excellent as well. Everyone here is eager to please and this definitely shines through in the wonderful service we've always received. We are fortunate to have Pasqualino's close by in both Irwin and Murrysville, however, we'd gladly drive much further for the awesome meals we've had here. more

Simply Outstanding 12/7/2010

Growing up around New York City, it seemed like I was surrounded by good Italian restaurants. It was always easy to find a good meal, and I guess I just took it for granted that good Italian food was easy to find. more

Best Restaurant/Catering in the area! 12/4/2010

If you are looking for a caterer for your next office party, Christmas party, birthday party, or just simply need a lunch or dinner catered, look no further...Pasqualinos is the place to call! They do an AMAZING job. I have been so pleased, I tell everyone about it. One of the owners, Dom Pasqualino has catered so many lunches for me for work that I have lost track of the count. I am a medical sales rep and need lunches delivered to hospitals and doctors offices every week and he is the man I call to get the job done and done right. He is so reliable and no matter what he makes it happen. The offices rave about the food, especially the stuffed shells, meatballs and chicken parm, they love it. So next time you have a party or need a special occassion catered, call Pasqualino's Italian Eatery and ask for Dom, you won't be sorry. You can have your dinner or lunch catered or simply go into the restaurant and dine in, either way, you won't be disappointed! more

Best Family Business 12/4/2010

Where do I even begin to tell you how awesome Pasqualino's Restaurant is....shall I start with the food since that is the reason why you're going there? They have amazing jumbo stuffed shells that you can get stuffed with either cheese ""or"" spinach, then there's the chicken parm over penne pasta, the out of this world pizza, which they are well known for, the pasta siderno is superb and one of my favorites and oh yeah, the sauce....it's to die for and is what tops it all off and makes you want to go back every week for more! However, when you go out for a dining experience or even have a catering event (which they do A LOT of ), you want outstanding customer service, right? Well then, THIS is your place! The owners are fabulous, I can't say enough about them. They have been a family run business since 1971 and they do the job right. The owner even brings the deliveries himself for a personal touch. Dom Pasqualino has catered over 20 of my parties/lunches/dinner. He pays attention to details and triple checks every order to make sure he gets it right, but trust me, if he didn't...he would do whatever it took to ?fix it? and make it right, I guarantee you that! I?m telling you, the food is amazing and the customer service is the icing on the cake when you place an order at Pasqualino's, so whether you dine in at the restaurant or have your party/event catered, you WILL be so pleased I promise! more

Welcome to Pasqaulino's Italian Eatery 9/21/2010

Originally Pizza Palace in Penn Hills, the Pasqualino family began serving homestyle Italian food in 1971. Nearly four decades later, their commitment to serving dishes made with only the freshest, quality ingredients continues. more

Great Food and Service 9/16/2010

Pasqualino's is an excellent dining experience. The food is excellent and the service is as well. They are known for their pizza, which is good!- but we have had the stuffed shells and meatballs. So good! We like how there are portion sizes to choose from. The prices are reasonable. Have recommended this restaurant to family and friends! Will go again and again! more

Hot Italian Mess !!!!!!!!! 8/26/2010

we arrive at 700pm finally get seated at 745pm . Sit down don't see a server until 800 . Finally place our soup order don't get soup until 830 - we both got wedding soup - it was mushy - filled with huge pieces of uncooked chicken - want to send it back no server to be found and mind you this restaurant is like 18 tables large maybe ? Finally get rid of soup - now were waiting for our meals it's going on 915pm now -server never gave our order to cook - so she brings me out a meatball to suffice me - r u serious ,oh it gets better - dont get our meals until 945- i ordered eggplant - friend ordered chicken parm - the chicken parm was ok - my eggplant the small portion was the size of a 50 cent piece , there were 3 pieces of them in a bed of overcooked angelhair pasta that looked liked mashed potatoes . Server finally comes back to ck on our table Now it's going on 10 pm i order the shells - come out 15 min later - they are ok - other people in the restaurant were having issues with there meals as well , one complaint was a uncooked pizza other was overcooked rigatoni - how the hell do you overcook pasta in a italian restaurant ? Here is where it gets good - we ask for bill - i have a meat ball added on extra - rem earlier the waitress gave that to me as a courtesy she said - i ask to have it removed - she says she can't take it off i ask to speak to a mgr - she disappears for 10 min comes back with a cell phone telling me owner - Dom or Don is on phone and wants to speak to me - i get on phone with owner tell him this whole awful experience and he tells me ** i will take care of your meal and get you free dessert *****also stated *** the staff on duty was new and inexperienced please forgive the situation *** here's the grand finale - the waitress comes back with bill - no meal taken off and 2 pieces of hard cheesecake - i ask her why was my meal not taken off - she said - he told me just to give you dessert - i said no he didn't - she disappears again - comes back and says he is not taking meal off just giving you dessert ----- Here's the moral to this story - the owner is a liar - i know what he told me - the waitress was a joke and the food was even worse - Hey Dom learn how to run a business you don't sit on a phone with a customer who's just spent 3.5 hrs in your restaurant tell them you know the staff is unexperienced that there were issues going on, ,LIE ABOUT REFUNDING A 8.00 MEAL ** and have your waitress in tears saying you never refund money on a meal - a 800 meal at that - Guess what winner - what you just lost was a very large italian family that not only deals with this location but your other locations as well that will never go back again -my family drops at least 500.00 a month if not more in your restaurant - we buy sauce use your food for functions - and when i get to work ohhhh believe me i will let them know of this as well --- hope that 800 meal you lied about refunding was worth it - Real great customer service more

Always a good experience 3/25/2010

I was excited when they opened a second location in Irwin. We used to go to the one in Murrysville, and now we have two places to go. The food is the same at both, and we really like you can tell the freshness of everything, cause they make everything there. Wife says ""They have the best calamari ever"". They also give huge portions, cause I have never tried their desserts. Our family has them cater lunch a lot from the Murrysville location, and we had them do our family reunion, and our friends shower. Never had a bad meal there ever. Pros: Selection, taste, price, atmosphere Cons: I'm not a big fan of Italian music. :) more

not worth the wait 8/23/2009

a lot of people i talked to said this place had great food. well, first we had an hour wait. i ordered the cheese fondue appetizer, but they were out of the foccacia bread, so they toasted up a hoagie bun for me instead-lame! i also ordered spaghetti aglio & olio with chicken. it was the most disgusting thing i have ever eaten. the spaghetti was floating in olive oil-no lie. there were about 8 pieces of dry chicken (1/2"" squares) on it. i had to dump half the jar of parm cheese on it just to soak up some of the oil and give it some flavor! Bad experience!!!!! then at 10pm, instead of asking us politely to leave because they were closing, they turned on these spotlights above the tables that glared right in your face. wont be going back to this place ever. the waitress also was kinda rude-andrea. gave her a lousy tip. more

Awesome! 1/19/2009
