we had a wonderful experience buying 2010 suburban from our salesman rahman, he was so helpful, he showed us all the features and options on the suburban, in fact this is the 2nd vehicle we have bought from him and of course parkway. (the first 1 was a 2010 camaro) last but not least in finance carlos got our payments lower then we expected and the interest rate was great too we were amazed, 5 star to parkway. more

Internet Buying 12/7/2010

I must say buying a car over the internet is the only way to go. Bob Hodge told me all about the car and sent me more pictures than I asked for. When I got to the dealership, the car was exactly as described. He discounted it $500 and I was on my way back to Austin with my Corvette a couple of hours later. Thanks for the great service. more

RUDE OWNER AND CUSTOMER SERVICE HORRIBLE 7/17/2009

DO NOT PAY FOR NAVIGATION! Our new 2009 Chevrolet Traverse LTZ came with a $3000 Navigation System that doesn't work! When we test drove our vehicle the Navigation DVD was not in the system, therefore, you could not test it. It wasn’t until we took delivery of the vehicle and arrived at home that we discovered this serious problem. I truly feel ripped off and cheated after paying $3000 for such an upgrade that obviously was falsely advertised to us at the time of purchase. Parkway Chevrolet has had our vehicle longer than we have since we purchased it and has placed hundreds of test miles on it, not to mention dings and scratches that have added character to our new vehicle. The dealership has concluded that there is nothing that they can do for us. They won't even refund our $3000 for the system that doesn't work. They also had a General Motors Representative visit and test drive our vehicle and he also will do nothing for us, as well. The owner of this dealership is extremely rude and unprofessional and I won't even waste your time to speak of the service department’s management and staff’s unprofessional customer service skills. The only pleasant person is their wonderful day-time receptionist Jess. Parkway wanted to blame GM for all the problems. The dealership’s service manager first accused our after-market Clifford alarm system of causing the problem, so we contacted the installer and had it removed (another $600 loss), even though we called and complained the first night before the alarm was installed. Our navigation system will not get you to an entered destination. It doesn’t even get close to the target. When you attempt to display your current location, it is off by several blocks from the actual GPS location. Why would you purchase such an upgrade at such a high cost that doesn’t provide accurate information? It is worthless! Cons: RUDE OWNER more

Excellent deal, easy negotiation, very good service 1/1/2009

I chose Parkway after researching several other Chevy dealerships. Virtually all of the larger Houston dealerships have such horror stories that I find it difficult to believe they stay in business (Landmark didn't, may Munday follow suit), but the reviews for Parkway were good-to-glowing. Make mine ""glowing"". I picked up a 2008 Avalanche LT for a very good price. I was out of the dealership in three hours (actually very good... I've heard of an entire day shot at dealerships and have personally experienced 5 hours).\r \r Service: A retaining clip failed on the dashboard... took the truck in and it was repaired in 30 minutes under warranty.\r \r The truck: Love it (along with just about every other Avalanche owner I've encountered). Excellent ride... it's not really a truck... it's an SUV with a bed. Gas milage could be better... maybe GM will give it the Escallade's strong hybrid drivetrain one day.\r \r I'd recommend the dealership and the vehicle to anyone. Pros: Good purchase experience. Best Dealership I have ever been too!!!! 11/16/2008

I went to Parkway Chevrolet expecting to get the same story I got from every other dealer in town. My credit isnt that great, and I was about to give up hope. I stopped by because it was on the way home. I was greeted by a salesperson as I walked into the dealership, and they did not run out to my car like other dealers had. I usually hate buying a new vehicle. I went by Parkway Chevrolet because a friend of mine recommended them. I am glad I did. They were great. I got the best deal on a new Suburban and my salesperson was awesome. Even finance was a breeze. I will always go to Parkway from now on! Poor customer service 2/20/2008

On 2/18/08 I and my wife went to Parkway Chevrolet in Tomball. We were greeted by a salesman named Hollis. I explained to Hollis that we were looking for an Equinox for my wife. I explained our financial situation and asked about rebates or incentives. He took us into the dealership and began asking my wife for her personal information, such as her drivers license and social security number. This upset both of us since we were standing at a kiosk in the middle of the dealership. If anyone was interested in stealing her identity they would have been able to get all her information without trying. Hollis then took our car to the used car sales for an estimate. We stood outside the front door and watched as he and the used car person stood there and talked for about ten minutes. The person at the used cars never drove the car. He opened the drivers door and just looked at the car. He and Hollis stood there for several more minutes talking. Hollis then went inside the used car sales office. After several minutes he came out, got in our car and drove it back to the main dealership. He then parked our car in a posted handicapped space. (we are not handicapped.) He then took us back into the dealership and again began asking for credit information. We asked about the trade value of our car. He said that it would be sent to the sales office. He again began trying to get personal credit information from my wife. The most customer service we were offered was the fact that Parkway has FREE bottled water if we would like some. I finally took the keys from Hollis and told him we were leaving. All he told us was ""Okay, bye"". Throughout the whole time Hollis acted like I was not even there. I tried to find an e-mail address for the sales manager, general manager or owner of Parkway and could not find one. We left and went to another dealership where we bought a brand new SUV, for nothing down and payments we could afford. Parkway, you moved but left your customer service behind.
