Paris Parker Salon & Day Spa

First of all I'm a cosmetologist and have been since '82. While getting a pedicure in Hammond I explained I had Hep C and the water should be changed,they ignored me thus spreading this deadly disease with no cure. I cancelled the color because the person that was to do it did'nt have the slightest idea how to do it and was visibly shaken and did'nt want to learn. Recently I went to the salon in Met. for a retouch a monkey could do when I told the girl of my last encounter with this chain she refused to dry my hair or let me use her dryer. She said it was against state board rules. Which of course was a blatent lie,I even double checked with them AND the board of health. The matter could'nt have been handled any worse by all. I was told they went o a year of Aveda training(HA!)more like brainwashing. I've worked with alot of diferent products and Aveda can't compete with them. Which speaks for itself since if you carry Aveda the company itself won't let you sell it UNLESS its ALL you use. I was in a bind and decided to try their haircolor. I now have sores on my head. First understand that Paris Parker does't pay well,so the get stylist that could'nt get a job anywhere else. These people must be braindead or have IQ's uder 65. I was'nt aware of this the first time I went. As I said a monkey can apply color, I knew my color. If not that too would be a disaster. It's been 3 weeks and some of the scabs are coming off. I've never had a reaction like that to AN Y color including BLEACH! These people should'nt handle sharp objects. The Neil Corperation that owns these chains should have stuck to selling beauty supplies. They did carry the best brands of color,perms and makeup. Pros: The Salon in Hammand has state of the art equipment Cons: They haven't the slightest idea what they're doing more

The room was cold, drab, sterile, and uninviting; I felt like I was in a gynochologist office. I went there for a stiff neck. Even after I thouroughly explained how stiff and painful my neck muscles were, the therapist spent only the last two minutes on my neck. She tossed my head around like a hot potato which caused severe neck pain for a week! A 30 minute massage cost me $50. PMS Day Spa charges that much for an hour, but unfortunately was closed. I will never step foot in another Paris Parker, so help me! Pros: It's easy to find Cons: Price, ambience- my closet has more character!, too cold considering I have to undress more
