Very unprofessional starting with the receptionist to the salespeople especially GEORGE. They need more training and not recruit these young no experience salespeople that have no clue what they have in stock and have to run to there sales manager for any questions you ask them, for that let me deal with your manager and not waste my time. more

came to buy used car, spend more than 3 hours in two visits, sales person was very friendly, however the manager who was in charge, came with such attitude, Basically he wanted to pull an “act” on us to show his young sales person, He was rood & nasty, didn’t want to take even $1 from used car… Claiming we came for internet price – however we didn’t see any remark for special internet price on the website, We just came after searching few vehicles that we saw on the web site, The manager admitted that they had to published lower price on the internet for clients to come, But then when you come to the agency either they don’t have the vehicle or they will not negotiate with you… more

THE WORST SERVICE CENTER FOR ACURA 5/1/2012

I purchased an Acura TSX from a nice dealer located in NJ however my options with getting service were pretty limited in Queens which basically forced me to service my car for the last 2.5 years at Paragon. The oil changes were fine, I would bring it in they would change the oil and I would be on my way. One problem I had was the girl who scheduled my appt for a Saturday gave me the wrong time and told me to be there at 7:30 meanwhile the service center opens later and I ended up waiting 30 minutes not realizing it until someone told me. I let that pass and didn't say anything...The next time I went in it was because my check engine oil light came on when my engine oil percentage was telling me 60% which meant I still had a good month and a half probably left due to not driving my car too much. I brought this to the dealers attn and they told me that the car needed oil they changed it and the problem was fixed. This didnt seem right to me considering my oil percentage seemed fine so in my head I was thinking it was a computer issue however I let it go and went about my business. About 2 months later the same thing happened. Keep in mind I do not drive my car very often and in two and half years have just hit 25K on the car. Once again I brought this problem to the service center's attn and they told me the same thing, changed the oil and the light went off, but when I addressed if it was a computer issue they told me nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary. 2 months later I am back at the dealer with the same issue...After being put on hold 5 times each time about 4-5 minutes of holding and then being transferred to a service man's voice mail, I called again and was lucky enough to get Kevin. I explained to him that I was put on hold so many times when I told the girl I just wanted to speak to someone directly because a problem I was having has been happ since the previous 2 times of being there at the center. I explained my situation to Kevin who seemed very nice, i brought my car in and he told me they performed all kinds of tests and it seems nothing is out of the ordinary but to watch my mileage and car and if the problem happens again bring it back immediately. I left the dealer paying only $37. for my inspection which he said was performed and I went home. When I got to my house I realized my inspection sticker was NOT put on the car...to my surprise I called right away and told the girl about my problem, she said oh its ok just stop by and they will put it on for you or come pick the sticker up. I go back to the dealer to find out my car was not even inspected and I paid for nothing that day. So after all of that there was no record that my car was even inspected so the receipt they gave me that day after I paid was a big lie...which I can understand how a dealership could release something with false information on it. They refunded my money but the point is, if you want your car serviced at an honest reliable dealer who will take the time to service properly do not go here....The funny part about this is I went to this dealer before driving to NJ and they didn't even want to sell me a car and was very rude when I tried to sit down with a salesman...so Jersey I went and was very happy with their service. BRIDGEWATER ACURA on Route 22 is the best by far. more

Best new car dealer 1/10/2012

We walked into Paragon Honda after visiting another Honda dealer . Jose R. Aybar approached us with a big smile and asked us if he could help us today.We felt very welcomed from the beginning. The dealer we had visited prior that day the sales man was kind of cold and basically brushed us off like he couldn"t be bothered. Jose R. Aybar was very professional and answered all our questions. Although we didn't drive away that day with the car. due to the color that wasn't available, He called every 2 to 3 day to touch base with us . The color we wanted was very hard to get but Jose R Aybar and Ariel Munoz, Sales Manager were at work doing their best to get us a car soon . We just picked up our vehicle this weekend, it wasn't the original color that we were looking for but it's just as good we are very thankful to Jose for his time and Ariel for helping look and Gary Lin Finance Manager for all working together so efficiently and professionally. Great job and I am looking forward to my enjoying my new car. more

PPL plz aware of this dishonest dealer Paragon Acura 11/1/2011

I went to PARAGON ACURA 56-02 Northern BLVD this dealer plan to lease a 2012 ACURA RDX. The sales person name is Justin Liu. We sign the lease contract by only knowing the monthly payment price. I paid full amount of the initial payment and waiting to come second day to sign all the other doucment and pick up the car. Then he helped me by asking a insurance company called me to purchase a car insurance. Actually its provided by a insurance broker. I end up being charged for $1100 broker fee, also payed $1400 for the half year insurance. In the second day I called direct to another insurance company which only pays $500 something for the half year insurance. Thats 1900 difference!!! So I purchased the insurance at this place and canceled the previous insurance. I called the sales person Justin Liu told him I'm not happy about the whole insurance experience. In the afternoon he just called and noticed me my leasing can't be approved by the bank. I have to either paying more down payment upfront or cancel the lease. I have been told yesterday it will have no problem to take this lease and I have a 730 credit score. I thought he must be unhappy about I found out the insurance thing. He must have some deal with this broker to help him get some money in this deal. Now he saw there is no benfit taken so he ask for more downpayment try to take advantage on me. This is my worest experience every. Called 2 insurance company and now have to cancel all of it. Also waste a lot of time by staying the deal store also doing a lot of research. I will never go to this dealer again. Because they don't do business honestly always want to take something from you. Ppl plz aware this and be careful about the trick they play. I'm glad I find out ealier to get away, but i'm pretty sure I'm not the only victim in this dishonest store. Also plz be aware of thie sales person Justin Liu. more

48-01 LOCATION HAS THE WORST SERVICE EVER! 7/28/2011

The Paragon Acura on 48th Street is a complete scam. I bought my car there, and was promised that the car would be polished, the tire changed out (because there was a gash on the tire). AFTER NUMEROUS TIMES OF SHOWING UP FOR THE SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT, I WAS STOOD UP EACH AND EVERYTIME. I tried contacting the salesperson, the manager and they never picked up my phone calls. If they did, they would apologize and come up with a stupid excuse. We would then reschedule a time, and ONCE AGAIN THEY WOULD STAND ME UP. NOONE IN THE SHOWROOM IS OF HELP, NOT EVEN THE MANAGER BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL IN IT TOGETHER. I AM FURIOUS. THEY MAKE EMPTY PROMISES AND ARE IRRESPONSIBLE. THEY ARE DISORGANIZED, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND BLOODSUCKING MONEY MACHINES. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LEAVE YOU IN THE DUST. more

Camilo was easily the worst sales person i have every encountered in my life. He would not return calls. Said he would call back in 10 minutes then never did. Wouldnt answer phone. Overall this dealership sucks. Poor customer service. Every time i called I got an attitude. Do business else where they people are scum more

Professional from beginning to the end! 11/16/2010

This is by far the best car dealer I have ever been to. I had originally gone there to buy a used 2008 MDX but since they did not have the right color combo I was looking for, I decided to cruch some numbers on a new one. They were having a .09% finacing and it fit my budget. They also gave me a fair trade in my 2000 MB s500 so I decided to seriously consider it. But then my wife, out of the blue fell in love with the new ZDX. It is a much sportier cross over SUV with all the gadgets you can think of. After going back a forth on the price, finally a deal was made. My rep. Mr. Adnan Khan has to be commended. From the moment we stepped into the showroom, he was very courteous, respectful and most of all professional. In fact, every staff member we dealth with was very professional and relaxed. From the managers to the finacing manager to the delivery manager, they were all there to help your buying experience as smooth as possible. Even when after i made the deal the previous day, when I found out the invoice price, they were still willing to work with me and took some additional price off. Over all, the entire experience was exceptional and I will always buy my cars from this dealer. Not only is the show room, clean, state of the art , well stocked, the staff is very well trained and knowlegable. They were always willing to give me a option instead of pressuring me into buying. Well done Paragon, you have a customer for life! more

Ariel is the Man to see! 10/16/2010

I had a great experience purchasing my new vehicle from Ariel Munoz alongside with his manager Jason. He is a pleasant, courteous, honest and very helpful salesman. This is my second vehicle purchased from Paragon Honda and I had a much better experience with Ariel than the first time round with a salesperson who is no longer employed by them. Ariel was there for me every step of the way, even after I already purchased my vehicle. He called me next day to make sure everything was OK and I am happy with my new purchase. I think Paragon Honda is the best dealership in NYC Tri-State, reason being is the internet service is quick with there respond. The internet manager Louise Petrus is helpful, great attitude and get exactly what u want .... Then to the sale floor everyone is on point .... Paragon Honda: Best Service Center in and around NYC 9/20/2010

This is clearly the best Honda service center in the NY metro area. For all reasons that customers care about: flawless repairs, cost sensitive service advisors and final bills, a large and clean facility and a manager, Anthony Petito, who runs a great team and is there should any problem arise, which is unlikely. I've been going there for quite a few years and cannot think of one even remotely bad incident, the kind that have happened to me before at other dealerships. It's always a pleasant experience and actually is getting even better... I know the individuals who work there and they just get nicer and that in itself is an indication of the kind of place Paragon is: people stay there for years and this is not true at some other Honda service places where there is much turnover. It is open 7 days a week, appointments are met on time, your car is returned to you as rapidly as possible, there is an electronic bulletin board showing where your car is in its work. I could not suggest even one improvement. Terrific mechanics and great concern about cost. I have sent friends there and they have had the same experience. more

Expect to be lied to - Be VERY VERY CAREFUL 7/16/2010

What to expect: 1) If you find a car on their web site and go in to see it, expect them to tell you that it's been sold. Be prepared for this and do what I did and prepare to leave. In my case, I knew exactly what kind of car that I wanted, how much I would pay and that was it. 2) I put a deposit down on the car. I was forced to sign all paperwork on the same day and buy insurance because web cars must normally be purchased and driven off of the lot on the same day, (even when they are not honda certified ready to be driven off the lot). I did not have all of the cash ready. I was expected to do this, even though there was no radio in the car which is a Honda Certified car. 3) I was promised that the radio would be in the car when I picked it up. I was going to do my best to pick the car up on Monday - I went in on Saturday. 4) Couldn't get the transfer through on Monday, the salesperson was out on Tuesday. Plenty of time to get that promised radio in, right? 5) When I went to pick up the car on Weds, the radio was not yet in. When I got upset about this, a box that says JVC on it magically appeared. Look, said my sales person, it's a better radio than what comes with the car! 6) The salesperson took the box and the car to service to have it installed. She returned shortly afterwards and told me that they did not have the tools that they needed to install it. I agreed to take the radio and have it installed elsewhere. 7) I went to have the radio installed upstate where I live. When my guy opened up the box, it turned out that there was no JVC radio in the box. It was a TOYOTA radio that can not be installed in a HONDA. 8) I ran into a couple there who wanted to take their chosen car to their mechanic before paying for it. They were told no but they insisted. When they insisted, the dealer suddenly decided that they needed to takethe car to service to replace a part. 9) My temporary registration was placed on the wrong side of the car. This is a small thing and I normally wouldn't complain about it if I were not so pissed off about the car radio. In spite of the lying, I liked my salesperson. I hope that she finds a way to make an honest living. Pros: Easy to get to, comfortable waiting area, good prices Cons: They lie and they lie some more and then they lie more
