After visiting 5 other bridal store I came to Paradise Bridal for a trunk Show. I was lucky enough to get Bernadette as my bridal consultant. Bernadette was cheerful, kind, patient and made me feel great. She was so kind and caring I believe it was her that made the experience so good. She seemed to love her job and said so several times!\r \r I had a very clear idea of what I wanted but was having a hard time finding the style I wanted in other stores. From the ONE photo I showed Bernadette she pulled 10 dresses that matched what I was looking for. She told me to take a look and to set the tone by trying on my favorite first. The first one I tried on was the one I ended up buying. I am so happy with the dress elated that the price was reasonable and can't wait until it comes in!\r Thank you Bernadette & Paradise Bridal! more

I had a great experience with Paradise Bridal. I wasn't expecting to find my dress when I went there on, but I ended up finding the dress of my dreams. I worked with Stephanie and she was amazing! She is sweet and so easy to talk to. She listens to you and is truly passionate about what she does. Choosing the perfect dress can be overwhelming with so many choices, but Stephanie must be a mind reader. She choose my dress before I could even tell her what I was looking for. I have been back several times to see Stephanie to ask questions and she has always been so personable and professional. Now for alterations, Maria is the go to seamstress. Her work is flawless! She noticed things that needed tweaking before I did. I definitely recommend asking for her when having alterations done. Stephanie and Marie made my experience at Paradise Bridal 5 star. more

Not sure why someone would go through these steps to try to ruin the reputation of such a professional and courteous business.\r My experience has been Wonderful, they went above and beyond any customer service I have ever experienced. Long story short after purchasing my Wedding Dress with Donna, a sample dress and 3 sizes to big since I did not have enough time to order the correct size. Rosalie the Bridal Seamstress was magical in her ways in altering my dress to fit me perfectly. I must admit I was a little skeptical at first about trusting there services after reading some of the reviews. When questioning Donna about them she not only reassured me but was truthful in letting me know that when you do over a 1000 Bridal Gowns a year it is impossible to make everyone happy, some people are just miserable no matter how much effort is put into accommodating them. Also the owners of Paradise refuse to pay to remove negative online reviews like most other Bridal Salons.\r Just felt the necessitate to let users know this bit of information and THANK YOU PARADISE BRIDALS for all you have done to assist me. more

My sister and I both bought our wedding gowns here and everyone including the owner was nothing but amazing!!!! They made us feel so special giving us plenty of time to decide on a dress over multiple visits. Not once did either my sister or I feel pushed into buying our gown!! My consultant was Kathy and my sisters was Charisse they were both extremely accommodating as well as the rest of the staff. Everytime I tried my dress on each consultant that walked by took the time to congratulate me and make me feel special. They were also very accommodating when it came down to the price of the dresses willing to work with us and our budgets. When it came time to choose bridesmaid dresses they were of course accommodating. We went to another bridal store first and had a less than pleasant experience. At Paradise my bridesmaids were treated with the same friendly service that I was when buying my wedding gown. They stuck with us until we found the perfect gown. And yet again worked with us immensly on the price for my bridesmaids!!! Needless to say we will be returning to choose and rent tuxes!! I cannot say enough to express how extremely pleased I am with every aspect of this salon!!! I recommend everyone to go when the time comes!!!! more

Had a very pleasant experience at Paradise Bridal. I was greeted by courteous staff, store manager, and consultant both times I went. I found the Paloma I wanted, they have a great selection of dresses by the way. The whole process went well and I was quite pleased with the service. The gown was everything I imagined it would be on my wedding day. My advice though go during the week to look, my second time in was during the week and much less crowded. more

OMG!! NIGHTMARE..... They Ordered the Wrongdding Gown and Now they Tell me its my Problem!! I trusted them to do there Due Diligence and order the right dress. They were supposed to call the designer and never did. DO NOT TRUST Your Gown to these People!! BTW< They have a D- rating with the BBB and have disabled there Facebook page too.... hmmmmm.....\r more

Paradise Bridal saved the day. \r My fiancee purchased her gown @ Roma Bridals, which closed there doors, leaving her with no dress 2 months before our wedding. After contacting numerous Bridal Shops trying to locate her Dream Dress, Paradise Bridal was the only store able to help.\r They were very accommodating and professional in assisting with our dilemma. Paradise Bridal is a NIGHTMARE! Their customer ""service"" is horrendous, they lie and, once they get your money, couldn't care less about helping you. They keep you on hold and everyone tells you a different story. Patty, my bridal ""consultant"" told me my dress would be in on June 12. When it wasn't in until June 27, after I went down to the shop and made a scene on June 25, she insisted that was the ship date not the delivery date, meanwhile they told me on the phone on June 26 that the dress was being overnighted from the factory. I sat with two other brides, after my dress was over 2 weeks late. One bride's dress was hacked up and her wedding was the next day. She was there for 2 hours. The second was there to pick up a dress for her destination wedding, flying out the next day, and they had her scheduled for an alteration appointment. Her dress wasn't ready!! They didn't even call me to tell me the bridesmaid dresses were in. When I called them, they told me they only had two in, then they said they didn't call me because my number was disconnected (which it was not). It turns out they wrote the wrong phone number on the file! They did have numbers for all the bridesmaids, and my phone number was correct on their copy of my receipt. Did they bother calling even one of them or looking on the receipt? Of course not! Also keep in mind you can't pick up dresses on Saturdays.....What shop has a policy like this?!?!? AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COST! more

Mother of groom saw a dress and liked it tried on ordered it. I went to my first fitting assuming it would just need to be hemmed this dress was a mess. It was a v neck and I was going to have some frontal showing but it was all boobs, the back on the dress I tried on covered my bra this dress that was ordered the back went down to my but..not what I tried on in fall. Almost totally different dress Second fitting was a nightmare as they are going to rebuild the dress front and back the chiffon in back was full of grease from food and had small nix all over as I said to another costomer it looks like someone used my dress as a table cloth my seamstress walked in with a bowl of sliced apples and was in the seamstress room with food all I thought about was the 10's of thousand of dollars that is in that room and they are allowed to eat while working on these dress and eat in this room! She came to me with apples on her hands and began to work on my dress I could see the stains forming..I am not taking this dress....it is a disaster! They want to have it cleaned and spot cleaned..I am not satisfied with this solution either it's an awful large sum of money for one day and to have all this go on. more

Have you wondered why the wall on their facebook page is disabled and no way of commenting! Could it be because they don't want the reality of their horrible business manors to be revealed?! I'm sure you can figure it out on your own! I must agree with all the negative reviews here, as my fiance is currently going through hell with these people. I wish I had done my homework of researching these unprofessional, heartless people before she dashing out money to them. Our wedding is only two weeks away and still no dress or RESPOND!!! From day one, she had told them that on March 15 she has shooting, and on March 1 they tell her that ""Oh, you better change that date, as your dress won't be here by then!"". How would you feel if that was you?!?!? I just hope to G-d for their own sake, they would deliver the right dress, right size, right alteration AT THE RIGHT TIME, or else I will make sure to do something that they will be forced to close their doors for EVER. Thanks to the power of the INTERNET!!! Perhaps, they could close their facebook wall, but, they won't be able to shut down every news agency in New York, every Blog and websites with reviews. If (which I highly doubt it) the owners/managers of Paradise Bridal are reading these comments, they better get their acts together and either do business right or shut their doors closed for ever. This is not a threat, this IS A PROMISE, and a man never breaks his promise. This I assure you. I will see you guys shortly at your horror store. I had been looking online at dresses for months-learning designers, finding out styles I liked, etc. Dress shopping for me has always been a nightmare! Never finding the perfect dress for whatever occasion it might be then finding one and still being uncomfortable in it. So when I called and made this appointment I was already extremely nervous! Than a friend told me about the ""horrible reviews"" on the internet and I almost cancelled my appointment. If it weren't for my mothers excitment over dress shopping for her daughter's wedding, I would have. When I entered the store I was greeted right away & told an attendent would be with me in a moment. When we were brought in the back I saw my ""dream dress"" & told the attendent that was the one wanted. When I put on the dress I thought , this was it, until I got infront of the mirror, it wasnt the ""one"". Already feeling disheartened, I tried on my mothers pick, similiar to the styles I liked. Again, no luck, until the attendant turned to me & showed me a gown that wasn't ANYTHING like the styles I liked. She said to me your wedding is in the summer, right? I though-gee you already forgot?! But she very nicely said, just try it on you might be surprised. Boy was I ever!!! When I saw myself infront of the mirror I couldn't believe that was me. Not only did I feel like a bride but a confident on at that! She knew not only what I would be comfortable in but what would make me look beautiful! What I thought was going to be a horrible experiece turned out to be the best dress shopping day ever! So,in that age old saying ""Never judge a book by its cover!"" I even found the veil & head piece to match & the whole time my attenendant never once made us feel like we were rushed! You see the store was supposed to close 2 hours after my appointment but stayed open till we were done! I had such a wonderful experience that I can't wait till my next appointment with my bridesmaids!! more

I dont know how anyone could write a bad review for this place because I had a great experience at Paradise Bridals. I don't live close and was visiting my Aunt in the area. She suggested we stop in just to try some dresses on and see what I liked. As soon as we got there we were greeted and everyone was so nice. It turned out that you didn't have the style dress I was looking for. However Rosalie took the time to go on the computer to see exactly what I liked. Rosalie along with Cherise and Maria pulled out similar dresses to show me. Cherise and Maria were amazing! They made me feel so comfortable and had so much patience from start to finish. They both went all over the store finding dresses, headpieces and veils I would like. They made every bride in there feel special and as if they were the only woman in the room. Customer service in your store is by far the best I have come across in the retail industry. I actually purchased my wedding dress right then and there without even going to another store to look around. There are so many Bridal places in Nassau county I could have went to. The reason I chose to pick a place so far from me is because of Cherise, Maria and the rest of the staff. It's well worth my 50 min drive...When the store was supposed to be closing Rosalie took extra time to show my mother some Mother of the Bride dresses and make her feel special also. I'm a makeup artist and I can assure you I will be recommending Paradise Bridal to all my clients and friends in the future! Thank you for making such a special day even more special. more

Reviewing this as a bridesmaid ....All of the bridesmaid dresses came in WAY bigger than we ordered. My dress was 4 sizes larger than the one I put down. Maybe they anticipated that I would put on 100 lbs in 6 months, who knows? Even the bra cups don't fit. The tailor actually laughed when i brought the dress in to be altered and asked me if I ordered the right size. And speaking of the tailor, you won't be able to get an appointment with Paradise's tailor unless you can get there on a weekday. For those of us that work 9-5 and have to travel to get there, it can be pretty difficult. So instead I have to pay to have it altered near my house in Queens, and it's not cheap. Another bridesmaid in the party is having it done through Paradise, and is not getting the dress back until 3DAYS before the wedding. Hopefully it's perfect when she gets it back or she's screwed. Not sure if they are any better with the bridal gowns, but my bride's wedding day is Nov 12th and she still doesn't have her dress. I know I'm not using them when I get married, that's for sure. more

As a bridesmaid at my cousin's wedding, I must say, YES I did have somewhat of an unsuitable experience when I went to pick up my dress and it was not ironed. The lady at the desk apologized and had my dress ironed in no time. I was not going to return to this store but then when I went to a bridal expo I found myself making an appointment to come in and try on dresses there. They offered a free veil and I fell for it... lol The lady that helped me was very nice and picked out a lot of dresses that complimented my body type and I fell in love with my wedding gown. My bridesmaids and my mom also received a nice discount. At fitting time the seamstress was a little rough but all I cared about was getting my dress done right. My second appointment was better; the seamstress was less stressed and therefore very kind. My dress fit perfect!!! Making my pickup appointment, I made sure the lady at the desk knew who I was and to also make sure my dress was ironed and ready to go. When I was ready to head out of the house to pick up my dress I remembered to call and make sure the dress was done and the answer was ""YES""... I always say to myself, not everything is as bad as it appears. I was a happy bride and I was satisfied and got over my fear of giving people a second chance. To all the brides out there reading this, We've all had awesome times... and some, well, not so great ones, but at the end, what matters is that you were able to get up to that altar in your dream dress and you still got married! more

I am not one for posting reviews, however I was approached by my friend's sister who asked where I got my gown. When I said Paradise - she said OMG, have you seen their reviews?? So I decided to check them out and after reading a few, I felt I needed to post my story. I've been to many bridal expos and at the last one I was at (Giorgios), I was offered a discount to go in and take a look at their gowns. From the minute I walked in, I felt like l've known my consultant for years. She was so nice and helpful...like I was shopping with a close friend. After purchasing my dress that day, I came back several times to look at bridesmaids and tuxedos and have always had a great experience. That's why I'm shocked to read all the negativity. I'm going back next week for my second fitting and I'm sure I'll be just as happy then. more

Im cracking up at the gushing review below mine... really? A living fairytale?! A bit over the top you think? Staff memebers must be posting reviews. This ""fairytale"" salon of dreams and rainbows didn't call me when my gown arrived,it was sitting there for weeks. They would not let me see the gown, lied about alterations and I was there getting alterations up until the date of my wedding. Management has major attitude problems. They were the only stressful part of my wedding. more

From the moment we walked into Paradise Bridal, my daughter felt as if she were the only bride in the world! . The experience was ""living"" a fairytale from getting the dress of her dreams, to having her dress personalized even more. Veils and accessories complemented the ""dramatic"" look my daughter envisioned since she was a very little girl. The bridal consultants were knowledgeable and sincerely committed to making her, her bridal party, mother of the groom, and me (mother of the bride) 100% pleased with each visit. With work schedules of the bridal party so incredibly challenging to make appointments, every single person was accommodated with dates and times that were so very much appreciated. The recommendations for Paradise Bridal were many and most definitely expressed the same sentiments.( SEE a comment made by one of my friends, one of many who recommended Paradise Bridal. she insisted on responding to my words. Her comment is under my account name.) The master seamstresses worked with great perfection and detail to have the dresses ""custom"" quality. It is so evident in attitude and a family type relationship, that each person working at Paradise loves what he or she does every single day. Reviewing Paradise Bridal is a pleasure for me, and I found myself compelled to share our wonderful, stressfree experiences. It is the only bridal salon and elegant attire business that I would strongly urge you to visit. See it for yourself and trust it for its reputation of excellence, a reputation so well-deserved and earned for so many, many years. more

I was recommended by my co-worker to visit Paradise Bridals for my wedding gown. I live in Bayside and Patchogue is a bit a drive for me, but I went anyways. I visited at least 15 bridal salons in the tri-state area and did not find more

Funny how the last few postive reviews were from people who have just oredered gowns... My oredering experience was fine... the fun began after my dress came in. My dress was ordered in JUNE... didnt arrive for EIGHT months... they would not let me see it until 4 weeks before the wedding. If would have be nice to be able to have seen the gown, because then we would have noticed they ordered the WRONG GOWN in the WRONG SIZE. At this point it was too late to re-order the gown. They never apologized... only said the woman who measured me made mistakes alot because she was old... really? There were many other issues, to many to type. Trust me... stay away. If you insist on using them lie about your wedding date or you will be in the shop getting alterations the night before your wedding. more
