Always pleased with my waxings 11/10/2011

Every 3-4 weeks I get my lip and brows waxed by Firoozah. She is an amazing esthetician and I am always pleased with the results. She is very knowledgeable, helpful and takes time to be meticulous. She is also a very good "people person" in that she genuinely cares for her clients. more

It's all GOOD ~~~~ Angie is simply the BEST colorist/stylist in the world ```` and professional ``` funny ```` just a really kind individual. I always look so much better when I leave ! Lindsey and Ashleigh are always in control of the front desk ... knowledgeable about products and efficient and really nice people. I can not state enough GOOD about Par Exsalonce .... alwasy a pleasurable afternoon !!! more

Angi Troxel is the best! 11/9/2011

Every month, I eagerly await my appointment at Par. Angi provides wholistic service. She's a superb listener, and her hand and head massages make my day. I enter the salon with thin, baby fine hair, and I exit with thick luxurious tresses. I give Par and Angi and Aveda products rave reviews, thumbs up and a 10!!! more

Spa Massage 11/8/2011

I have had 15+ massages at the College & Quivira location over several years. I get massages to relax and center myself, not just for a perfunctory muscle rub-down. The spa is multi-sensory experience that hits all the senses. It's quiet and serene with soft atmospheric music, ambient candlelight, aromatic oils, warm rooms, cucumber or lemon water, and I love the option of the steam shower to wash off the oil afterwards. Most importantly, the therapists are consistently excellent. I usually book at the last minute, so I rarely have the luxury of getting the same therapist twice and I've never had a bad experience. more

I went on a whim to get a facial and a pedicure and I left feeling so relaxed and pampered. Everyone was so nice and friendly and the atmosphere was very soothing. I will definitely be going back again. more

Don't go for an Updo!!! 11/6/2011

I went to Par Exsalonce to have an updo done for a wedding I was in, and was very disappointed with the service. I described to the girl what I wanted and showed her a couple of pictures. After about an hour I left with what I would describe as a bun. It was very plain, no curls, nothing fancy...I could have done better on my own. Which I did end up doing. By the time I got home (after a 5 minute drive) the pins were already popping out and pieces of hair sticking it. I ended up having to undo the whole thing and create something myself with very limited time. I was so sad to have wasted my whole morning and $50...I should not have paid. I would suggest that the woman who did my hair attend some further training classes. I will give them one star, because I have been there before for haircuts and had some really good servies. more

As always, seeing Sandra is a treat that I look forward to on a regular basis. I have sampled these services at many high end salons across Johnson County and Par is the best. The atmosphere, her attention to detail and her skill level allow me to rate her the best. Book with Sandra and you will never be disappointed. more

Spa and Massage and Hair Cut 11/3/2011

The Experience was great.. Paid the same at Massage Envy but didn't receive half of what Par Exsalonce had to offer. I well not ever go back to Massage Envy after this excellent experience at Par Exsalonce. I get my hair cuts at the Oak Park Mall location. I must say no one has ever done a better job on me than Maria. Again Thanks Par Exsalonce for a fantastic experience. :) more

Aveda never seems to dissapoint! Everyone was really nice and very accomodating. When your a working mother, being pampered, if only for an hour or two, is amazing and much appreciated. My appt was early (first one)and I overheard their morning meeting; Aveda is true to their word when they say they are enviornmentally friendly; it was a big topic in the meeting. They really care what thier customer wants w/out comprising nature! Gotta love it! more

experience 11/1/2011

I had a wonderful time! I would have liked to have had more time in between the facial and pedicure to take the steam shower. With the appointments being back to back, I had to really rush through the shower so I didn't do the steam or get to enjoy the nice shower. :( I had also ordered the stones with the massage and the stones were forgotten. :( The over all experience was still great! more
