I've been a loyal customer of Ernesto for several years, and when he opened his new location right next to Papillon, I decided to follow him regardless of being concerned about his poor business ethics. And that turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made.
While being Papillon's employee, I've known him as a very pleasant, energetic hairdresser with positive energy. Well, that has changed dramatically since he opened his own business. I guess, he just can't handle all that stress and pressure.
Ernesto's new salon looks great, that's a fact. But
he over-processed my hair, literally burned the hell out of it. When I asked him to fix it, he yelled at me and asked me to leave the shop and come back someday else! Very few people made me cry, and now he's one of them. I heard that a few other clients of his went through the same experience.
These five-star rating is actually for Papillon, where I went back for a corrective color. They did exactly what I wanted, and my hair looks great again. But more importantly, they treated me with respect and appreciation.
