Pann Home Services is generally very good about being available. That is probably their strongest point. They have shown up for me, when sometimes other contractors have left me hanging. The one complaint I will say I have is that, generally, they are more expensive than the others. If I need work done, they have been a good group to go with. They have shown up on time, and the guys that come to do the work have been courteous. more

It was a very good experience! 6/4/2012

My water heater went on the blank and I called Pann Home Services to fix it. They tried to fix it but they were unable to. It was an old water heater and I just decided to get a new one, and they helped me select one. They were wonderful, informative, patient, and explained my options. I had the heater installed in January and it has been working wonderfully since then. It was a very good experience. From the time I first called Pann Home Services, the secretary was lovely. The two guys that came out to my house were also great. They were courteous, polite, and explained everything. They were excellent. more

Very professional and courteous staff. 5/3/2012

It wasn't their fault, just a casualty of technology these days, but I needed work done on a Friday, and I had seen an ad of theirs that said to call in for a quick response. I called and there was no answer, then emailed with no response. I found out when they called back that their website and phones had been completely down, and they were very apologetic about it. The guy who came by to do the work was very good, just the initial website issue held things up. That was the only problem. The guy came by to do some kitchen plumbing work. I had a problem that was pretty simple, and the gentleman had it fixed in no time. He was very professional, and I could tell, since I've worked in the hospitality business and for service oriented companies before. more

I give them the highest praise. Pann Home Services can be a little pricey, but they are very good and reliable. You get what you pay for. They perform great quality work and they are quick when doing the work. more

From minor jobs to major ones! 1/26/2012

We've been using Pann Home Services for many years, for two different residences. They've done everything from minor things, to continual maintenance for our furnace, electrical work and plumbing, to doing major rebuilding efforts for us. They've done quite a lot of work for us over the years. They've put in a laundry room, a front walkway and a back porch. We first used them when we lived in Brooklin, to rebuild a bathroom, it only took them a month to completely rebuild it for us. They are professional, friendly and do good work. Generally, our experience with Pann Home has been a very positive one. more

Generally, Pann Home Services has been good, except for the fact that I think the pricing has been high compared to their competitors. The quality of their work is fine, and the service has been pretty good, but the price is high. more

I was very pleased with the service, so I would recommend Pann Home Services. They came in, took some measurements, then replaced the toilet seat for me. I had been having a hard time finding a replacement, and it was wonderful that they were able to help me through something that had been bothering me for awhile. more

Really good if you're in a jam, but really expensive too. 9/29/2011

My experience with Pann Home Services has been good. I'm always pleased with Michael, though I think he is very, very, very pricey compared to anybody else. He does get the job done, so if you're in a jam he's the one to call. My only objection is that you get charged if they have to get a part. For instance, if they have to go back to the office to get the part it costs you. I think the diagnosis, which you get charged for, and the installation should be enough, which can run hundreds of dollars, so my only real complaint is about the extra charges. Pann Home Services does a good job. They are courteous, kind, and they don't mess up your house, but I think the charges are pretty high. They have pretty good availability, and if they can't do it right then they usually get to it pretty fast, particularly because I've been a customer for 50 years. I'd recommend them, with the caveat that though they are very good they are also very, very expensive. They are very good, so if I'm in a jam that is who I would use, but I don't know why it costs as much as it does. Sara M. Bass more

One phone call will do it. 8/31/2011

I was recommended to Pann Home Services by a friend of mine, when I first bought my house. I'm glad I got aligned with them, because the are a full service organization. They do everything for me--plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, you name it. I have totally entrusted my house to them on all levels. It's nice, because I don't have to pull people from a dozen different companies. I can make one phone call, and that's it. Everyone who works at Pann, from the administration to the staff, is very nice and professional. All the guys that come to do work here are great. They arrive with friendly, clean and upbeat attitudes. They are good, hardworking guys that seem to be happy doing their jobs. And they are always polite. They do little things like ask to use the bathroom, that make you feel like they aren't taking over your house. The only thing I wish was different about Pann--and I've talked to Mike about this--is the cost. But he has a business to run, and has to pay his people, so I can understand. The quality of service I receive from them justifies the cost. It's nice to be with a company I can rely on for quality. And as I said, they take care of it all. more

Good customer service. 7/28/2011

I have a service contract with Pann Home Services, so I'm not sure about how the experience is for somebody without one, but what I can say from my experience is that they provide good customer service. They are a little bit pricey, and that would be my only criticism, however I think that their customer service has been good in general. more

Their work is reliable but expensive. 7/8/2011

I have been living here about 14 years, and when I had been in my house for about 3 years the light bulb in my ceiling wouldn't unscrew. I called Pann Home Services, and they charged me $100. That was back in 1999. A few years later it happened again, and again it was $100. Because I have been a long time customer, and they were only here for about 5 minutes, I felt that it was not very good customer relations. They have done a lot of work for me over the years, and I continue to keep them as my home services company. They installed a new water heater for me and a new dryer vent. I find their work to be safe. They installed a toilet and did a good job, and my water heater is still working fine. Also, the disposal in the sink works fine. Their work is good, but the amount of money seems a lot. Also, even though we had their peace of mind service, where we pay a monthly fee, they didn't come on New Years day when we had an emergency. The upstairs neighbor's baseboard froze and sprang a leak. It was pouring down our living room ceiling, and Pann Home Services wouldn't come until the next day. I only wanted them to figure out how to turn off the water. I will continue to use them, though I had to discontinue the peace of mind monthly contract, when I need things done. The work is good and reliable, but I think it is a lot of money. more

I was quoted $750 for as simple a garbage disposal replacement as you could imagine. I did the math in my head where the new disposal cost more

I've been here 44 years, and I wouldn't recommend anybody but Pann Home Services. They're phenomenal! They functioned as a team, which was terribly important to us, as we had a lot of work done on the house after terrible, terrible winter we had. Mr. Pann put together a collaborative team that I have not found anywhere else. The carpenters, plumbers, and electricians all worked together, with one or two apprentices being taught through it all. It kind of reminded me of the olden days with family owned business where people really cared, did very skilled work, and took pride in their work. I can only highly recommend them. They are outstanding people, and I look forward to working them again. more

Pann Home Services provides excellent service and is highly knowledgeable. 4/27/2011

I've been using Pann Home Services for over twenty years. I think their plumbing and electrical work is really good. They come when they say they will, and if they'll be late they will call you and let you know. I do think their services are excellent, but watch out, they're pricey! I keep using them because they are good at what they do, dependable and familiar with my place. I just wish they'd lower their prices! more

Pann is remain #1 for us, an incredible experience with top notch professionals 24/7. 4/20/2011

During a catastropic 2011 winter Pann's team of skilled, highly knowledgeable and friendly professionals worked (nearly) 24/7 for over 2 1/2 months to rescue our home. [It is still a work in progress.] From heavy ice dams on a sloped roof and deep snow in the yard (piled higher than anywhere else in our area,) total damage was enormous:to gutters and downspouts, furnace (died and could not be repaired), leaving us without heat, to water seeping into a used finished basement...and more. Pann's team collaborated to remodel and restore: 1st-rate plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters worked tirelessly to "fix" and solve problems. We now have: an efficient Hi-Tech Pioneer Advanced heating and Hot Water system, heavy duty sump pumps, new hardwood gutters and downspouts, improved attic insulation, and stop gap measures to prevent water from damaging our basement. Quality work at every step. More major work is still needed to ensure proper drainage, and this too will be done by Pann. We are grateful to all, incl. Michael Pann and his managers for being there, like part of our extended family. People who really care. more

Pann Home Services is fast and efficient. 4/5/2011

When I called Pann Home Services on the telephone, the woman took down the information quickly and efficiently. They got back to me quickly. They were able to come out and do a diagnosis in a day or so, it was fast. The news was not good. The job was going to be an expensive one, as I recall the water heater was going to need to be replaced. I thought that the accounting of why it was going to need replacing and how they were going to go about doing it was very clear. We went ahead with Pann and the job was quick and professional and everything has held up very well so far and we've been pleased with the results. Titus Presler more

Absolutely perfect! 3/14/2011

I've had some problems in the past, but for the last couple of years, Pann Home Service has just done an absolutely perfect job. I would say that they are not very cheap, but in terms of quality they are just perfect. I like the fact that they guarantee the performance of whatever they do. They give a lifetime warranty, which I surely appreciate. If something breaks, they will do it for free, but I've never experienced that because so far everything works! more
