David Homer, Flooring Specialist, did a great job of explaining different wood flooring options to us. He was always available to listen and advise as he let us make informed choices. His communication skills are outstanding! As for Panel Town, our material was delivered on time with no "extra" fees, a great experience. We've had a great experience with Panel Town. We had a vague idea of what we wanted, but our flooring specialist, David, really helped us pick the best floor for our home. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and responsive. He was even able to recommend an installer after our contractor had to leave due to a health problem. Prices were very competitive and the service can't be beat. We will be repeat buyers for all our future flooring needs more

I ended up at Panel Town in search of transition pieces to match some flooring I had already purchased from another large chain flooring store. The big box stores only carried the basic species, like oak, and I was looking for something to go with my Brazilian Walnut flooring. On my first visit, I ended up connecting with Homdi, the owner, and he spent a lot of time with me helping me select something that would work for my application, which ended up being special order. This started off as a DIY project and Homdi spent a lot of time answering my questions and providing me with lots of great installation tips, that proved invaluable. I completed the simplest room by myself, but the the other rooms proved to be too challenging for me so I turned to Panel Town for advice on hiring some professional help. Homdi recommended a company and they came in and helped me finish the project. The area around the fireplace proved to be extremely challenging and required multiple trips to Panel Town. At one point, I stopped by the store to pick something up and when I showed Homdi what I was going to do with it, he explained to me that it just wouldn't look right and guided me to a better solution. What I like about Panel Town is that it's strictly a flooring store and the employees all know flooring. When I visited the box stores or larger flooring stores I just couldn't get my questions answered, or simply couldn't even find anybody to talk to. Whenever I visited Panel Town, I was working with somebody as soon as I walked in the door and the person know flooring. Even more impressive was the amount of time and attention I received from Panel Town, considering the fact that I had purchased the flooring from another store. The only thing I purchased from Panel Town was the transition pieces so I was a relatively small customer. I also discovered that Panel Town carries some better quality flooring that you just can't find at the chain flooring stores. They actually have some reclaimed wood and some very high quality engineered flooring that they have made themselves from the local area. My husband and I are planning to build a house next year ,and given my experience with this project, we will definitely be turning to Panel Town for all of our flooring needs. more

I received a recommendation on an installer and used the installer for three separate jobs. I love my new hardwood floors and stairs! The delivery of the hardwood for floors was right on time. The delivery man stacked it exactly where we needed it so it could cure. The wood itself was exactly as ordered. You did good. I am completely satisfied. more

Working with Homdi and Dave was a joy. They supplied multiple samples of product which helped my wife make her final selections. I also found the pricing to be less than their competitors. The installers started when they said they would, showed up on time, They explained the process to my wife and were professional and fast. This is the 2nd time we have worked with the Paneltown Team. Remodeling can be a difficult experience,but Paneltown makes the job much less painful. I highly recommend them, if you are looking for quality products, fair pricing, and professional installation. We were remodeling our home when we decided to “bite the bullet” and upgrade to hardwood floors! We visited several stores but ultimately settled on doing business with Panel Town. Not only had they come highly recommended but we also appreciated their extensive knowledge as well as the way we were treated during our shopping trips in their store. With much anticipation, the day finally came to have our new hardwood floors installed! I was so excited! After the first couple rows were installed it didn’t look like I thought it would but felt sure that after a few more rows were down it would begin to "blend" and look the way it did in the manufacturer’s catalog. Unfortunately, that was not the case. It looked worse and I did not like it. We stopped the installation. We didn't know what we were going to do. Without getting into all the specifics, what I can tell you is that Homdi went above and beyond to make sure we got the hardwood floors I had envisioned! I’m so glad we chose Panel Town because they truly care and will do whatever it takes to make their customers happy! Thank you Homdi! We heard of Panel Town from my father-in-law who was very pleased with his wood floor purchase compared to another company he purchased from. After looking at many flooring stores in the Columbus area, we wanted to check out Panel Town. First of all, their prices were much better and they had a much bigger selection of wood flooring. We wasted our time looking at other stores! We ended up purchasing Sheoga natural character solid hickory for the first floor of our new home. We love the quality of the wood floor. We are very pleased with it and we get compliments on our wood floor all the time. The customer service was great. Our purchase went smoothly. They delivered when we were ready since we were building a new home. The day of delivery, our driveway was muddy and the truck got stuck. I called the manager, Homdi Soliman, and he called a tow truck to come. Before the tow truck arrived, he personally came out to our house in Sunbury and carried in about 60 boxes of wood flooring to help his workers. His delivery guys were friendly as well. The same day, our hygrometer (device that measures moisture in the air) that was given to us with our purchase, had been stolen out of our home by a contractor. The following week I went back to Panel Town to purchase something else and I saw Homdi. He obviously remembered me since he came to our home the week before. I told him about our stolen hygrometer and he without hesitation gave me another one free of charge without me even asking. I had to write this review for many reasons. Their selection, pricing, quality and customer service were outstanding. Don't waste your time on going to other places. I know we won't next time we need flooring! more

We referred to Panel Town by contractors who said that they were the best in town. The staff was very helpful and courteous and helped us pick the flooring we wanted. Additionally, they referred us to Jim McCool, of McCool Floors, Inc. I cannot say enough great things about Jim and his team. Professional, detail-oriented, and looking out for our best interest, no matter what. There were some hiccups due to issues with the floors, but Panel Town and Jim took care of us. Highly, highly recommend Jim and his team for your flooring installation. more

Good Morning. Our first experience with Panel Town was at the recent Home and Garden show at the Columbus Fairgrounds. We spoke with Homdi Soliman, the General Manager. Mr. Soliman listened carefully to what we were looking for, and guided us to view specific products. I was very impressed with his professional manner - not pressuring us to make a decision Now to receive a discount on a purchase. We went into the store on Dublin road yesterday and worked with Tom Craig. Again, we were treated with the utmost respect and helped to find a product we will most likely use. Tom even provided us with a sample of the flooring we believe we will be using in order to get a mini view of how our floor might look when installed. We have moved the sample to several different places with the specified room, and it has truly helped us to make a decision. When we are ready to purchase, we will be buying our flooring needs from Panel Town. Tom also provided us with a contractor that we can contact if we don't install on our own. One more thing I would say is that All of the associates within the store yesterday, were extremely friendly and outgoing. We had stopped at your kiosk at the Columbus Convention Center several weeks ago. We have been looking for flooring for several months, the salesman was extremely knowledgeable which helped us make the decision. Your salesman at your store in Columbus store was very helpful and made our purchase quick and easy. more

I recently ordered 1250 square ft. of Mulican Murfield Autmn Maple. I can only rate on customer service as the floor has not been installed yet but Jim Blair has been outstanding to work with. He got us what I think is a very good price for this product and has delivered on everything we have agreed upon. Much better experience in dealing with Panel Town and Jim than any other suppliers that we have checked with. more

Panel Town was recommended to me by a contractor. I wasn't sure what hardwood I wanted. I did know it had to come close to the match of my laminate in my kitchen. The first thing I noticed was the no smoking sign. We walked in the door and Jim Blair with his hands full, asked if we needed help. I still have somethings I have to work out, but Jim is who I will ask to help me. more

This is my third experience working with Panel Town over almost 30 years. Each time has been for a different house and different product. This last time we didn't know exactly what we wanted in a wood floor. Tom Craig took all the time we needed over the course of multiple visits to educate us and answer all our questions. He was extremely patient in working with a couple who had little knowledge of the qualities of various woods and helped us stay within our budget. The delivery of our order was on time and the workers were courteous and careful. I would recommend Panel Town to anyone looking for flooring! more
