hi guys , This is for all the people who check the review and then go to the restaurant . We just had party there for 125 people and let me tell you that they were just outstanding .food was awesome and service was very good. All the wait staff was very helpful. They even help us load the car after the party was over. I'll highly recommended this place for party as well as dinning. . Must go Without any doubt . more

I recently visited palace of asiaand it was worth in every sense .I just moved from washington dc and we were on the look for a a few good resturant down there and on visiting palce of asia, i would say it is the best indian resturant i ever been. we were five of us on a party and ordered a bunch of apitizer and main course.all were beautiful prepared.baby lamb they use in there boti kebab was so tender.chicken tikka masala was so damn good. All the vegetarian dishes were up to immense satistifcation. I would stongly recommend the Indian Cusine Palace of Asia to all my friends, family members and other colleagues. more

We recently hosted a wedding reception for my daughter's reception at palace of asia in fort washington and we were amazed by the ambiance of the hotel's banquet hall and the food was very delicious the food was hot delious and presentation was beautiful.all the wait staff was very accomodating.the hall looked spectacular.my daughter and her new husband were happy and completely happy at the end of the very long day.The staff was friendly and helpful. They accommodated all of our needs. We had a welcome pool party for all the guests one afternoon and allowed full access to the kitchen and food. more

A classic, up-scale Indian restaurant in a very industrial city. Very close to the center of town with graciously late lunch hours (which I totally needed on a Friday afternoon). more

I had a birthday party here for my son a few weeks ago and it was soooo great! The food was amazing and the service was thoughtful. The best part was that I was able to enjoy the party too because everything had been taken care of properly and almost exactly to my specifications. My guests are still calling me and telling me that they had a great time, many of them had never had Indian food before. I know a few of them have gone back to eat at the restaurant already and were just as enthusiastic. more

I never paid so much money to have myself, my family and my guests insulted and treated so poorly. The service at this place was TERRIBLE and the manager was extremely rude and walked away from me several times when I was trying to discuss the service with him. The ignored all of our requests and seemed to just do as they please. It started out with the manager misinforming us about the speaker system at the location and we ended up having NO music for the ENTIRE NIGHT. They also never prepared a separate seating area for the guests of honor as we requested. We had to request the champagne 3 times before it was poured, after all the toasts had been made. We ordered (and over paid for) enough to cover all 150 guests and most individuals got none while others got their glasses over filled or got seconds. The Food was requested to be ready at the table by 7:30 at the latest and was not ready until 9pm (at an event that started at 6pm). When we complained to the manager, he walked away from me the first time and I had to chase him down. Then as we talked with him and told him our complaints, he told us ?your guests are not happy, it is none of my concern?. They started clearing the floor at 10pm when we had it booked until 11 pm and half the guests were still in the hall! I had complaints from guest of them taking food away while they were still eating. The manager and co-owner talked down to me the entire discussion and insulted and mocked an underage guest, then hid in the building for the rest of the evening and refused to talk with us. When we asked to talk with him at the end of the night, we were told by the staff that he did not want to see us. *edit* ps the day after i posted this review, the manager of the restaurant called to tell me he wanted to sue me for writing a bad review of him... on a restaurant review site!!! the audacity of some people!!! more

If you are looking to have a reception or party, then go to another banquet hall. This place has no interpersonal skills and the service is awful. Rather than showing you the hall and selling there place to you, they stare at you and make you do all the work. We didn't even get to enjoy our reception because we were interrupted so many times with tasks they should know how to handle. They didn't even have the appropriate amount of chairs for our guests. I will say the food is delicious, but it would have been nice if we got enough food to feed all our guests that we PAID for. It was just a mess. I would NEVER have another event here again. We are never going back here again and will continue to educated people not to if they want excellent service and value worth your money. This place is unorganized and the people, especially the Manager, is not pleasant to work with! My husband is very easy to please and takes alot to make him upset- and even he was very disappointed and upset about the service we got, how we had to tell them every little thing (ie move the desserts off dance floor so our guests can dance, bring out more dishes for the desserts, etc.) and worst of all, there wasn't enough food for all our guests because they were lazy to bring more food out. We definitely did not get enough food for our guests that we paid for. This place is an embarrassment! Cons: service and staff more

In last few years I have been to this place many number of times and all I feel that the service and the food has gotten much better than ever before. My most favourite dishes are Chicken tikka masala, Goat curry, Bhartha, Navrattan korma and Malai kebabs. I have tried them in many different restaurant but no one has done better than Palace. I have been going there for alst 7 years as my work place is close to that and I always encourage everybody to go there but today I went there with my manager to check so that we can host our christmas dinner there. But the service made us feel bad. I will suggest to the owner to take action immediately. The new servers are not up to the mark to serve. Severs should not come and talk to the guests in a bad fashion. It hurts being an Indian. Look at the recent reviews. Pros: OK food Cons: Bad service more

I went to this restaurant very recently. The food was good and I must say that this is one of the Indian restaurants where me & my wife finished all the food that we ordered without taking even a single piece home.. This is very unique restaurant. I would not call it Indian. It does not matter what name you give it to their restaurant. It is palace of villagers or palace of poor people. I want to be honest and let you people know that I have gone to this place several times to try and see that if anything changes. All I can say is the management has changed several times but people have gone worse. WORST SERVICE EVER!! RUINED VALENTINE'S DAY DINNER! Waited 15 Minutes to be seated for an 8:30 reservation in a half empty restaurant. Then, we waited 25 minutes for a waiter to come over to our table. NEVER HAPPENED. We got up and left the restaurant. We spoke to the manager and told him happened. He said the kitchen was backed up. We then repeated we never had a waited come over to us. He just didn't care. WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!! Cons: Horrible Service more
