Pacific Pavingstone was awesome! They told us they would arrive on July 3 at 7:30 am, they were prompt. They said the job would take 3 days. They were finished in 2-1/2 days. They men working here were very pleasant and efficient. more

Exceptional work. Pacific Pavingstone exceeded our expectations in every area, from their sales person Mike Owen to their site foreman Gilberto and his incredible construction team. They're not merely great craftsmen, but artisans, creating flowing curved paths and decorative steps that would make Frank Lloyd Wright proud. Look no further in Southern California for the best pavingstone company. I got 2 other quotes: one from a well-known national mega-hardware store and one from another large So. Cal. paver company. Both estimates were over $10,000 more and included sad old school hard-selling techniques. Had none of that nonsense with Pacific. And on top of doing a great job, they've renewed my faith that there are good contractors out there, and it's well worth doing the research to find the great ones like these guys. The final cost was right on compared to the original estimate. I got more than my money's worth. What I liked most was the speed with which the project was completed. I liked everything about this experience. Hang on to this crew. They're absolutely the best. more

Pacific Pavingstone laid stones in an area of 2100 square feet, including the driveways, patio, backyard and walkway. They did this in nine working days. I've owned this house for over 30 years, and it really needed a new driveway and walkway. They were very professional. I would definitely use them again. I am very happy with the work performed, and I recommend them to others in need of this type of work. more

This was the best experience I've ever had with a contractor from salesman to the final seal being placed on driveway. On a Wednesday evening, I sent an e-mail requesting to be contacted regarding my driveway project - the following morning I was contacted by Pacific Outdoor Living. A salesman then contacted me and said he could be in my area later that day. We met and agreed on the project and cost in an expedited timely fashion. On Friday, the scheduling team at Pacific Outdoor Living called me and scheduled work to begin the following Tuesday. On Tuesday, the contractor was on location at 0630 and completed the agreed upon work plus worked through some additional unexpected work in the 4 days they told me it would take. My driveway was completed on Friday. Every worker seemed to take pride in their work - I was truly impressed. The final details and cleanup was handled on Saturday as opposed to the following Monday. I would highly recommend this company's services. The other e-mail I sent to another paving stone company was answered a week after the job was finished. more

Pacific Pavingstone removed our existing driveway and adjoining walkway and installed a new paving stone driveway, walkway, and garden path. We needed advice about the type & style of paving stones to use, so we went to the Pacific Outdoor Living showroom and talked to their designer. She really helped us to choose what looked best for our home. We unearthed some unanticipated conditions under the driveway that required adjustments to the time schedule but the delay was unavoidable. The company adapted to the changed conditions and worked with whatever challenge presented itself. The result was a beautiful job. We are generally hands on types of people and continually asked questions about the work and how it was going throughout the project. They were polite and informative throughout. The follow up person, Marty, made sure that everything was to our satisfaction and told us to call him if there are any problems or questions in the future. more

We had a 2,500 square foot asphalt driveway and several concrete walkways. It was time to redo the driveway and we decided to consider paving stone instead of asphalt. We got an estimate from Pacific Paving (now Pacific Outdoor Living) and checked references and decided to proceed. We did a brick type pattern for both the driveway and the walkways. We started with an estimate for redoing a deck in the backyard, and decided to use another company for that because they were more full service, but at the same time we got an estimate for doing the driveway. Michael was very prompt and comprehensive in providing the estimate and we decided to proceed. They scheduled the work in advance and Emerson and Joaquin and their crews did demolition (and recycling) in a day and a half and completed the entire job in less than 2 weeks. They even did a few extras to make it look better. It included putting in a drain system and sump pump because the existing slope for the driveway was insufficient for surface drainage. Joaquin made sure to communicate fully at every step of the project. In doing the demolition they broke the main water line, and stayed for about 5 hours in the evening to do a temporary repair till they could get a plumber out the next day. Truly above and beyond! I got more than my money's worth. more

It was a great experience working with such professionals and I absolutely love the finished product: my beautiful curved driveway, walkway and front porch. Michael Budnick, the sales rep, was on time and available for all meetings as well as helping to design the walkway, front porch and steps. At the first meeting, he also provided a Site Layout of the entire project as well as the company press kit that included a CD demonstrating how the work would be done from demolition to finishing touch on installed pavers. Israel, the job foreman/superintendent, was very easy to work with. He came by every day and also made suggestions that helped me decide how I wanted the front porch done. Friends and neighbors have told me how beautiful my driveway is, as well as the front porch. I just love it all! It really is beautiful and adds so much to the appearance of my 1940 house. You use a great product and have a great team. Keep it up. more

I have finally found some time to drop you a line to let you know how impressed we are with the service provided by Pacific Outdoor Living. We viewed your work at the Pasadena Showcase House in May and decided to have someone from your company come out and give us an estimate for a relatively small job. In June we met with Brian Godley who explained in great detail our options for putting in a small patio and setting paving tones under our arbor. He was quite thorough and was so helpful in giving us design suggestions. Within days of our consultation, three sets of paving stones were dropped off at our home in Palmdale so we could get a better idea of which color scheme we preferred. The workers who came to our home were great. It was interesting to see how everything was constructed. Honestly, I was expecting to have a mess to clean up after this job but not a chance. You couldn't even tell we had any work done other than the finished product. Needless to say, both our patio and arbor design look wonderful not to mention the flowerbed running along the fence that Brian suggested!
