I came across Pacific Automotive by circumstance, my friend left the lights on my car outside the Timeout bar and when we went to go home the car was completely dead. We came back on Sunday to retrieve the car and called AAA and had waited almost an hour. All the Auto shops were closed, but one guy was getting some stuff out of his shop. I thought about asking for help but AAA was on there way. But then he approached me and asked if I need any help. I had explained what had happened and he offered a jump. we tried to jump it, but it was to dead. He went back and got a battery charger and explained we need to charge it slow to not damage the battery any further,just give it 10 minutes he said and hopefully you would be good to go. 10 minutes had passed and it started. Then he explained let it run for 5 minutes and restart to recheck to make sure I didn't get stranded. 5 minutes had passed and car restarted. He told me there could be battery damage and I would know when I left for work the next day. he said some times when a battery is damaged it will recharge but overnight could discharge or not retain the charge. When I went to pay him he would not accept pmt. I then learned he was the owner and was there that Sunday because he was moving the shop down the street to a better location. He gave me a discount card for new location and said he rather have a customer for life than just one day. Well he got me. I thing I most appreciated is how he explained everything throughout the process. more

Took my car in for brakes. They replaced the brakes and rotors for a reasonable price. A few months down the road, the brakes were having problems, so I took my car back and they took a look at them. They found the brakes were warped and cracked. How this happened, I don't know. So I get the car back after they replaced the brakes and it's making an awful noise and the steering wheel vibrates. I take the car back and the guy who worked on my brakes immediately said he did not break my car. Took him for a test drive, he put it up on the lift and said that it was probably my CV boot needing to be replaced. I found it kinda fishy that the car had a problem immediately after I took it in. They told me to take it back the next day so that they could look at it. There is NO way that I would do this. I took it to a more reputable shop and the first they noticed...One lug nut is missing from the wheel that was making all the noise. Also, two other bolts were extremely loose. The idiots at Pacific Automotive have no standards and will definitely NOT work on my car. PLEASE for the safety of you and your family/friends, STAY AWAY from this place!!! more

You know when you leave a mechanic's feeling like you've been ripped off? Well, this place fits that stereotype. I've never had a good experience here. I've since gone to another mechanic (Autocare Experts) and they have found that the parts put in the car by Pacific Auto weren't even new when I was charged for new parts!! Basically, don't go here unless its for something minor. (For the record, they do have a new owner since I've been there last so maybe things have changed ...) more

this car place is definitely reasonable. the employees are personable and willing to work with you. they do good work and give a "cash" discount. They can get you in during a busy day if you really need something done to your car. they appreciate the customers and are comparably priced. I would recommend this place, for I am a customer of many years more

These guys do a great job. We haven't had anything major worked on here, but they always get the "little things" like oil changes done right the first time. They have a shuttle, and they take appointments. The hours are great- open all day on Saturday- and usually have sales. The staff is friendly and courteous. more
