GOOD PEOPLE - AWESOME SERVICE, I have used their company for years. They are good about explaining what I need and options that I have to make repairs. The even email me my estimates. I use their shuttle service to save me from having to get some to help drop off. With their late hours i can get my car back quickly. more

I recently visited the new Carmel location, using pfm services for the first time. I just got a routine oil change. I found the staff to be very welcoming as well as willing to go out of their to help. The manager, the individual who was processing the payment information, even went out to get my car off the lift and drove it around front for me himself!!!!! The service was fast, of high quality, and convenient. The facilities are very clean and nice. The waiting area was SUPERB. Nice restrooms, a computer in the waiting area, television, and refreshments. I can't see myself taking my car anywhere else now that I have seen the service from pfm. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! more

Have been Using PFM for around 3 years. Have always been happy. Love that they email estimates so that I have no surprises. They are open early and late. Started using them because the company I work for use them and recommended them. I am glad to recommend them as a car replace that you can trust. more

I'm actually surprised these guys can stay open with their blatantly criminal-style operation. And I don't use that kind of language a lot. Here's my story: I call them while I'm on the way to Indianapolis. They say they can replace my exhaust manifold (my first key issue) easily. Except, when I get there, I break down. I have to have it towed (first mistake, these predators were ready for blood!). So, I leave it with them for an estimate. Ask them to check the rear brakes, fuel and cooling system as well. Sounds ok? Well, it's about to get ugly. First off, they stall me on the estimate, knowing I have a flight booked out of town. Then, they break the news: a $10,500 estimate. I'm completely serious. And apparently, they were too. After I picked myself up off the floor, I started combing through the estimate, I saw that they were also jacking the parts prices by 100-500%. So somehow $30 parts would end up being $130. They estimated $800 for a carburetor (a $250 part) $400 labor to change shocks (usually about $15-30 per shock) I could go on... After talking to several other mechanics, I basically told them that I wanted my RV back. ""Not happening,"" they said. Not until I paid them $525. Their ""estimate cost"". So they basically held my vehicle hostage until I paid them their $500 extortion fee. Think it's over yet? Nope. These completely unprofessional thieves also parked the RV in a spot that was so difficult to get it out of, that the tow truck driver nearly got a hernia trying to push it to his truck. The sad joke about the whole thing is that in the end, they tell me that ""they wouldn't be able"" to replace my exhaust manifold. So basically they lied to get me in there in the first place, held my vehicle hostage and then extorted money from me. ""Crooks"" doesn't even begin to describe it. more

I had some truck problems when I was driving through town on the way to Chicago. I found these guys on Google, and because they worked on trucks, I figured I'd give them a shot. Bad idea. These guys were obviously ""lying in wait"", basically the worst kind of mechanic you can find. Real vultures, they quoted me $2500 on a job that I eventually got done for less than $500 at another garage. They also tried to stick me with a ""diagnosis"" fee, even though all they did was claim I needed to replace every possible part in my fuel system (including ones I had just replaced weeks before). These guys are the worst of the worst. Avoid them at all costs. With the way these guys work, I'm actually kind of surprised they're still in business. It's probably because so many people just get burned and just don't say anything. Speak up, people! Save people the hassle! I'm just trying to help people out here. (Also, take a look at the ""positive review"" below by ""Angie481"". Then take a look at her review history... Yes, Angie apparently really likes PFM Auto. Like, all four locations of PFM Auto. Now either she's really, really into taking her cars and SUVs to every single PFM location, or she's, ahem, not so genuine ;) more

I live on the North-side but office is my vehicle. I cover Central Indiana with my job so I have used all of the locations of PFM over the years. I have found them to make honest recommendations when I need service work and most importantly no recommendations when I have not needed anything. Prices are fair and they stand behind their work. Used them since 2001 for my 2 cars and 3 SUVs. more
