Hip - Fun - Location doesn't match the vibe 3/25/2008

Trendy ambience welcome by the locals who were looking for somewhere to go for a nice night out (instead of driving into LA) Eclectic (fun) menu, dishes were all delicious (tried a variety of appetizers, side dishes, entrees and dessert) Can get loud in the later hours. Great energy, beautiful people - and great people watching. Great bar area to lounge have appy's and drinks. Friendly wait staff. Sunday afternoon a great time to go when it's quiet, sit in the bar area, have some great eats and drinks to watch a game. Outdoor patio with firepit looks fun too. Pros: Yummy food, Beautiful People, Great Bar Cons: Pricey, Great ambience in the Restaurant - but situated in a residential area/mini mall more

Best neighborhood restaurant in Conejo Valley 2/20/2008

I had read all the good and the bad when I decided to take the plunge at P6. My friends had recommended the ""678"" properties so I was expecting good things. Coming from NYC where I had lived for 31 years, I had lofty expectations for food and service. more

Sundays rock @ P6 7/30/2007

I stopped in P6 for a drink last Sunday not knowing anything about the place and was blown away! I sat at the bar and a local there suggested I try one of the Sous Chef's specials. I guess he is in charge on Sundays. The best pasta dish I have ever had! Grilled shrimp over fettacini. So simple and so amazing. The food was super fresh. The staff was friendly and enthusiatic. The crowd was welcoming. I ended up spending a lot more time there than I had planned on. I even tried the Sous's special dessert! This guy is good. I eat out all over Hollywood and New York and he rocked my world! A Chef to watch for sure. Pros: Creative, fresh food, genuine staff, talented Sous Chef Cons: none that I could see more

All flash, nothing else. 7/16/2007

P6 is very cool to look at....but since nobody really goes there for food, you'll be looking at a very cool, empty restaurant. The drinks are priced way beyond stupid, and they must be very proud of their food, since $12 for 4 tomato slices on a cute square plate did not impress me. Pros: good design Cons: lousy food and service, hyperpriced. more

Awesome 4/12/2007

We were happily surprised with the food and service. Even the bread was awesome. It's a great local place with a nice outdoor area. Drinks were great too with a pretty good wine list. Pros: Food, Service & Ambience more

Dissapointed especially after the rave reviews 12/6/2006

I work for a public accounting firm so I get to eat out a lot and use CitySearch to find some of the best restaurants in town wherever I might have my client. This week brought me to Westlake Village so I went on CitySearch and found P6 to be a well reviewed restaurant. Pros: Ambience, Parking Cons: Food - They spent all their good money on ambience more

Don't miss trying this place. Surprisingly exceptional 11/13/2006

I have my business luncheons once a month here in the conference room. It's fantastic. First, the menu is great. My favorite is the Fantasy Burger. It is by far the best burger in the United States. It is unreal good! For our lunch meeting, we choose from the luncheon express menu. You choose any two items for $15. You can have an appetizer, entree and/or dessert. The Asian chicken salad is so great. It's not your classic sesame dressing. But it's so great. A few members of the group get the gezspacho (sp?) and love it. The panini's are popular as well. This is the best place in town to have a business lunch for 12 or less. It's quiet and the staff is super professional. The service is second to none. When I have to impress a client in town, I take them to P6. Pros: Food, Decor, Staff is nice Cons: Can be a little pricey, depending on the items/time of day. Hard to eat there often for dinner w the prices more

Terrific service!! delightful, intelligent food! 10/28/2006

Wow!! What a nice staff. Our waitress was so informed and helpful. We happened in on their 1/2 off wine night (Monday) and we were so glad we did! Pros: Service, Food, Mondays are 1/2 off wine night more

food and drinks are to die for! 6/28/2006

i enjoyed the vibe from the moment i walked into the front door! it's like hollywood in my backyard, better yet new york city! the food was delicious and the drinks were one of a kind. i guess they just made a new drink list. and the bon-bon martini i definately recommend! the chef came to our table and greated us with his cooking knowledge! i highly recommend this restaurant to both locals and out of town guests! enjoy! more

a great night out 5/24/2006

I dined with a group of friends, there new chef seems to be pulling in a big crowd, Sat for some time at the bar and chatted to freindly bar staff who seemed to be pushing there new coctails......wow, fresh produce coctails great idea! I can finally eat great food and experience a hollywood vide without the drive. Pros: hollywood vibe Cons: some ugly locals more

better for drinks 12/5/2005

we had dinner here a little while ago with another couple. the decor is really nice, lots of warm-colored lighting, grasses, stone, etc. while things like the bisque and the tarte-tatin desserts were really good, the entrees seemed to be missing something. i would recommend this place as a business lunch spot or for drinks and dessert than for a dinner spot. the drinks here are more on the inventive side, including some that contain glowing ""ice"" cubes. the bar area was pretty packed on saturday and it's actually a nice hang-out spot, ESPECIALLY for the area, considering it's in the boonies. Pros: nice bar scene, good desserts, interesting drinks Cons: lackluster entrees more

Save your money 1/7/2005

The beautiful decor does not make up for the lackluster food and obnoxious wait staff. Their habit of placing ""reserved"" signs in front of customers while they are still at the table is obnoxious! Save your money, go have dinner and then go to the buddha bar. more
