Worst

Boring, watered down, asian fusion, ready for the hoards of people who simply don't know any better. Enjoy! Pros: they have food Cons: lacks any flavor or imagination

Unbelievable! In a bad way. 3/4/2009

I recently dined at the PF Changs in Plant Hollywood and undoubtedly had the worst restaurant service I have ever had in my 30 years of existence. Myself, my sister, fiance and brother law all sat down. Me and my fiance ordered the two person meal deal where you get two soups, one app, two entrees, and two desserts. My sister and brother in law ordered lettuce wraps and the sesame chicken to share. Soups came, apps came, then only one order of sesame chicken (both my sister/brother in law and myself ordered it) and my fiance entree. I thought maybe the tray was not big enough and mine would be right up. After 10 or minutes, I flagged down the waitress to ask about my entree and the lettuce wraps which you would think would come out first. She initially looked a little confused, then said it would be right up. I assumed she forgot to enter it in, and also assumed I was going to have to wait for it to be made from that point. 30 minutes pass. Now I am pretty upset. I flag her down again and inform her that my entire table has finished eating while I have not even received my entree. She still looks confused. We also remind her that we have not received the lettuce wraps either. I think at this point she understands finally what I had already told her more than 30 minutes ago. How did she not understand the first time when initially ordered, the second time either, and then finally....aha...the third time she gets it. She did comp the entree and lettuce wraps but considering the whole dining experience was completely comprised I would have been happier have the entire bill comped. Also, I would have expected the manager to also come over and apologize, but that did not happen. more

Average chinese 8/10/2007

There is quite a bit of hype about P.F. Chang's Bistro, however, I feel that this restaurant pays more attention to their decor than they do their food. The food was never bad but it was about the same quality as your local take-out chinese restaurant. The noodles and rice dishes are rather bland and the other entrees are overly sauced and heavy. Prices are high for the quality and I feel the menu is very Americanized. When my friends and I ate there we were very impressed by the ambience (stylish and romantic) but the food was brought to our table luke warm and in small portions for ""family style"". If you in search of a restaurant for the decor but not so much the food then go here but it is not one of my favorites. Pros: Stylish and romantic ambience Cons: mediocre food more

Beautiful Evening 8/2/2007

This is a great place to conversate with your date. The lighting is romanticaly dim and the tables all have candle lights. There is a wide selection of wine and sake. I have to say that the food is definently flavorfull and the ice tea has a light after-taste of rice. The service is friendly and always ontop of drinks and dirty plates. The window walls give a beautiful sight of the sky (especially around 7pm). I love this place! Pros: Romantic Atmosphere Cons: Stuffy and Over Crowded more

great all around! 5/26/2007

the food was great and so was the atmosphere. the only thing better was the prices! you simply cant get a better asian dinner for the price. you can certainly find worse food at other places but to get any better than this you will have to spend about $60. per person somewhere else! Pros: everything more

Mc Chan 10/25/2006

Boring, watered down, asian fusion, ready for the hoards of people who simply don't know any better. Enjoy! Pros: they have food Cons: lacks any flavor or imagination more

THE BEST ANYWHERE 7/11/2005

FOLKS, I HAVE EATEN GOURMET CHINESE FOOD FROM NEW YORK TO LA TO HONG KONG. I HAVE TO SAY I DEARLY LOVE ALL THE PF CHANGS I HAVE BEEN TO. THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD AND THE INCREDIBLE TASTES THEY ACHIEVE CANNOT BE FOUND ANYWHERE ELSE IN MY OPINION. IF YOU ORDER THE BLACKENED SEA BASS AT ANY PF CHANGS IN THE COUNTRY AND YOU DON'T CHEW OFF YOUR FINGERS EATING IT, THEN I SUGGEST YOU GIVE UP EATING CHINESE FOOD. THIS IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS. I HESITATE SAYING THIS BECAUSE I DON'T WANT THE LONG WAIT FOR A TABLE TO GET WORST. Pros: THE BEST CHINESE FOOD Cons: NOT BUDGET PRICED more

The best in town 2/6/2003

They have the best food and wonderful service, as well as being romantic. Pros: wonderful, wonderful, wonderful Cons: needs to open more, needs to open more, needs to open more more

Review SOO off 1/13/2003

The food here is great. Although, as most chinese people will testify, unbelievably American! But hey, this is America. The dishes are big enough to share, and the kung-pao chicken is just hot enough to handle. The service is usually good, if not a little slow at times. Sitting in the booths is far preferable to the uncomfortable tables that are outside, but the view is great for people watchers. Pros: inexpensive, good food Cons: waiting time, uncomfortable seats more

Chinese with a flair 12/9/2002

This place puts a slight bend into Chinese food, and it always tastes great! I have been to these all over the country, and the food is consistently good. The lettuce wraps are good and the entrees are plenty big enough for two people. Pros: The food is great!, Good wait staff Cons: Long wait times, Don't take rsrvtns. more

PF CHANGS ROCKS 8/26/2002

Very good ""date"" place! Very romantic and the food was EXCELLENT!!! Pros: great ambience, worth the price, food is wonderful! Cons: little expensive more

PF Changs is Outstanding!! 8/24/2002

My review indicates that I've eaten/dinned at this restaurant and it is wonderful. The service is great and the setting is somewhat authentic with hand painted chinese pictures. If you like Chinese food this is the place. And yes, there may be a wait but it's worth it. The chowmain, beef and broccoli, any type of fried rice and their wonderful EGG ROLLS!! Pros: great parking, great service, celebs love it Cons: alittle expensive, always crowded, n/a more

The Downside of an Inconsistent Chain 8/23/2002

P.F. Chang's has always been inconsistent withing the chain. The one in North Dallas is wonderful and this one is pathetic. In an effort to draw in the Strip and business crowd, this location sits on its location laurels and that is about it. Food is mass produced at lunch and dinner and service is from inattentive to non-existent. Does it really take 20 minutes to make Lettuce Wraps at lunch? The interior design is nice, but completely brought down by warn furniture, seating, flooring and dining wear. With the heavy traffic this location sees, refurbishing on a bi-annual basis is a must. Well, it hasn't seen a makeover in over three years. And it shows. This truly is the ugly step-sister of the chain. Fix her up or disown her. Pros: Nice interior, Open Kitchen Cons: Worn tables, Lacking service, Food preparation more

Chinese for the new millenium 8/11/2002

This is the future of chinese food. We are seeing the end of the common boring chinese, and seeing that it can be evulated to sophication. I highly recommend Chang's Spicy Chicken or Pork Lo Mein. If you go get the Chicken Lettece Wraps. To die for. more
