We added 4 new desks in our office and needed the electricity hooked up asap. I called the company and they sent someone out the same day for an estimate. The work was scheduled when we wanted it and completed on time. Everyone I talked to on the phone was very helpful. My hot water heater broke recently and was leaking all over the basement floor. Called Ostrom and they had someone over the next day. The workmen were John, Jason, and Drew. They arrived on time and were extremely polite. They immediately got to work and had a new 50 gallon hot water heater on the property and installed the same day. They were not only very professional, but also were willing and able to answer all of my questions and went beyond the basics of the job to make sure that everything was in place and in safe working order before they left. They pulled the proper permits and their work was inspected by the city the next day. The city inspector even commented that Ostrom is a great company and that they consistently do good work. I am now a subscriber to their customer service plan and will definitely be calling them if I need any electrical or plumbing work in the future. more

I called Ostrom for a breaker tripping after a ceiling fan install. George showed up a few hours later and with a new breaker I was up and running in less than 30 min. George took the time to educate me on several things and was very polite and professional. I was so impressed I had him give me a quote for some future electrical work. more

i researched several companies and had quotes from more than one for installing a whole home generator and transfer switch. When the Ostrom tech, Daniel, came to my house to review exactly what I needed he very professionally looked at all my power requirements and the layout of my house. He then recommended a GE whole home generator and with a great deal of knowledge explained why he was recommending this model (which was not the most expensive) and exactly how it would function, from load management to generator automatic exercise and function check. He described everything about the installation and the cost which was firm and would not have any hidden associated costs. It was a no brainer. This was the right company. When Daniel and team returned to install the generator, they were all very courteous, did not make a big mess in my house or on my lawn and cleaned up everything on completion. Their demonstration and explanation of how the generator would function was easy to understand and was accurate. If you are looking for a whole home generator installation, I highly recommend Ostrom. I have a rental house, and I think the renter sabotaged the toilet. There was a toy that had been flushed. Ostrom had to take the toilet off and get inside the pipe. If you want to deal with a company with upfront prices and no hidden charges than Ostrom is for you!I've had alot of companies give estimates for repairs , but the actual cost was always higher. But with Ostrom, the technician went over the work I had requested be done and gave me a written quote.During the work he quoted he found that the work done prior was not complete.He repaired the incomplete work with no extra charges.I recommend Ostrom to everone I know.Best company I have ever dealt with! more

It was a really good experience with Ostrom Electrical & Plumbing! They came in and gave an estimate. Ostrom Electrical & Plumbing installed a new line from the meter into the house, re-did all the wiring, and put in a breaker box. It was a lot of work. Ostrom Electrical & Plumbing are a very, very good electrical company, and I was happy to hear that they've expanded to include plumbing. I've had them do several jobs, some regular maintenance and some improvements. The young man that did our work, Daniel, is a very nice, good electrician and an efficient worker, and the company doesn't charge a whole lot. I used to be a general contractor, and I've hired lots of electricians, some good and some not so good. These guys are good. I have them come by once a year for safety inspections, and we have a wide variety of new chores to have done in the pipeline. more
