As far as Tasting Menus go this one beats all. Chef Ian Kleinman's approach to food takes on this almost childlike guilelessness...and bam! you're overwhelmed by this power of flavors and textures you can't get enough of because they're so new and different...not to mention delicious!! This is a man who exudes a true love and appreciation for his craft and a staff who demonstrate much of the same. A Colorado treasure! Pros: Stellar food and service Cons: I can't think of one! more

This restaurant was amazing. Drove 20 minutes from central Denver to get there, and it was worth it! The decor is great, romantic without being overdone, and the service was attentive without being obtrusive. But the food was the main attraction - delicious and inventive. All of the choices looked so good, I couldn't figure out what to order, so I chose the mixed grill of lamb, short ribs, and salmon. It did not disappoint. Each component was done perfectly, with wonderful seasonings and sauces. The next time, we are going to try the molecular gastronomy tasting menu, which looked both unique and tasty. Little did I know that a ""jewel"" existed in Westminster! I love this restaurant. I have had many things on the menu including the excellent wedge. If you are a fan of the ""wedge"", this is the place for you. Crisp lettuce, wonderful bacon and homemade dressing. They have a burger on the menu called the ""Burger Royal"", this by far is the best burger in town. Can't forget the memorable Mother's Day Buffet. So many selections, so little time and everything fresh and plentiful. Last but not least, the desserts are out of this world. Best prime rib that I have ever had, it melts like butter in your mouth. Service is great and the atomsphere is warm and inviting. Everything on the menu is great from the wedge salads to the dessert I have not had one bad thing yet. The brunch on Mother's day and Easter are wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone. Forget North Denver's best, O's at the Westin Hotel in Westminster is truley one of the metro areas best restaurants. From the moment you walk in you get a great vibe. There's an oyster bar in the lounge that offers limited sushi and steamed seafood as well. The bar is very energetic with a wide variety of top notch spirits and beers. The Robert De Niro looking manager(as mentioned in a previous review)is actually Patrick and I've seen none better at working a room interacting with his guests. The food was without a dought some of the best I or my wife has ever had. There are crazy combinations we had never heard of as well as the simple but delicious steaks. The one dish that stands out though is the tomato salad. Thick juicy tomatoes, asparagus, blue cheese, shaved onion and a great sweet olive dressing. This along with the iceberg wedge are the perfect choices to start your meal. Great service from a younger staff but very well trained and truely genuine in there efforts. As mentioned in another review the prices are worth it and I wouldn't say that O's is expensive but more of that ""once a month/special occasion"" type of restaurant. My husband and I live in the area. We recently decided to spend our anniversary night at the Westin Westminster and have dinner at O's. I loved it! The staff was amazingly friendly and knowledgeable. My husband mentioned it was our anniversary and the server offered us complementary desserts with our meal. The food was excellent! Very filling! But when it came to the end of our meal, we had no room for dessert. The server right away offered for dessert to-go. We could take it up to our room for later! This restaurant is wonderful. I love the view of the fountain, the lighting, and how close it is to entertainment venues. I plan on taking my parents to dinner here when they are in town... they can't say they've been to Westminster without eating at O's. I love a great steak and O's has the best filet I've ever had in Denver. My husband had the tuna which was fabulous. The new Chef's have created some really interesting appetizers on the menu - chicken & mint wrapped in rice paper, fried guacamole and grilled flatbread - all are delicious. The servers were very polite and very helpful giving our group suggestions when we needed them. The restaurant patio has fire pits outside. After dinner, my husband and I brought our hot chocolates outside and sat by the fire pit in a comfortable chair with a really soft blanket. What a nice touch. Sometimes you have one of those WOW experiences that only happens a few times in your life. My husband and I were lucky enough to have that at O's Steak and Seafood inside The Westin Westminster Hotel. We went based on a referral from a friend and were not disappointed. This is not your typical hotel restuarnt, in fact, this is a world class restaurant inside a hotel. The service was fantastic, the staff was prompt, super friendly and knowledgable. The ambiance at night is just perfect. It makes you not want to leave. To really enjoy everything this restaurant has to offer plan on spending some time, and sample everything they have to offer. The food was over the top, it looks great when it comes out, and it tastes even better. We highly recommend O's Steak and Seafood. Pros: Great food, great service, great ambiance. Cons: None. more

O's puts Westminster on the map... finally a great place to celebrate north of Denver! Not a place to ""eat""... a place to dine. Treat yourself... you'll be happy you did!\r -Thought provoking menu... many interesting ingredients and preparation methods.\r -Great, complete wine list... manager(?) (that looks like Robert DeNiro) was a great help finding the right wine to complement our meals. My wife had steak and I had fish... so we went with their extensive wine by the glass menu.\r -Well timed service... not too fast or too slow. Gives you time to listen to the Sinatra music in the background and have a nice conversation.\r -This place has wonderful food! The flavors, ingredients, textures, and presentation were all superior to any of the other restaurants we dine in.\r -Although the menu prices are higher than we are used to paying, we both found the menu items warranted the higher amounts. The portions were large and the food was superior in quality.\r -One big part of our experience was the new look and feel of the restaurant. The colors, textiles, setting, lighting, music... From our table by the window we had a beautiful view of the promenade and lake. The pink shade of light from the overhead chandaliers and the warm colors of the restaurant cast a romantic hue on the dining room. Located in the Westin Hotel in Westminster, O's is often overlooked by locals as an available dining option. The dining room is modern & well appointed and features very high ceilings. We started with a two cheese onion soup and a blue cheese wedge salad. The biscotti-shaped parmasagne crouton served with the soup was a nice touch, as was the thick slice of blue cheese that accompanied the salad. Dinner portions were larger than expected. My flat iron steak sweet potato hash was very good as was the medium-rare prime rib served with horseradish mashed potatoes. The wine list has prices and choices to fit everyone's tastes.
