Orlando Vintage Clothing & Costume

I've had the pleasure of working with the owner and her staff for several parties over the past few years and have always had nothing but positive things to say. For starters, the shop itself is a trip back in time, a fascinating museum of the way we dressed and the way we were; there's a laid-back, inviting, and friendly vibe about the place; and it seems to be much larger than its square footage would indicate. There is an amazing amount of clothing, costumes, and accoutrements for any party or context, and I've always been pleased with the extremely helpful nature of the owner and staff. While the prices can quickly escalate when putting an ensemble together, I believe the personalized attention I've received, coupled with the fashion sense of the staff working there who've selected some awesomely unique costumes for me over the years, alleviates some of the sticker shock. It's unlikely that you could go anywhere else in Orlando and get as much attention to help with putting together and outfit or costume, even on short notice, as you could at Orlando Vintage. more

I went to the store looking for a Halloween costume. The lady started showing me the ugliest dresses so I told her I wanted something a little less plain (trying to be nice). She nastily replied, ""These dresses are ANYTHING but plain."" OK, I thought then you just have horrid taste. She refused to find out what style of dresses I was looking for, insulted my size, and blamed me for her not trying to help me. This is just a NASTY person and for the first time in my life I will say I hope this business fails. more

We rented a 70's shirt for a local benefit party but realized when we got home the shirt had a stain on the front pocket. We called immediately to let them know and asked for a refund. The owner got on the phone a said she would only issue a refund if she was able to re-rent the shirt to someone else - seriously? With a stain? Luckily, we found a shirt from the closet that will work just fine. more

I visited Orlando Vintage recently- I passed it every day on my way to work for years but never seemed to have the time to stop in. Now, I'm wishing I had sooner! I could easily spend hours looking at everything...they've got a great selection of both men's and women's clothes. Even better, I was able to find things at every price point. I will definitely be a return customer! more

Orlando Vintage has quickly become one of my favorite stores in the Orlando area. The things they have you aren't likely to find anywhere else. Such a FUN place to shop. The store is full of SO MANY great things--from classic to funky--and they are always getting new items. Come to find out they do some of the outfitting for the TV show Mad Men- very cool. I love the store...it's one of Orlando's hidden treasures. more

I am a consignment shop person. I love to look at all the clothing, try stuff on and basically play dress up. Some times you find some really good deals. This place has some cool stuff and is located in Winter Park. So you get name brand things for great pricing. more
