Orangetheory Fitness

I signed up for membership for the pflugerville location and canceled a day later. I was told that I didn't need to do anything else so I was assuming the membership had been canceled. I find out 4 months later that I was being charged for the Avery Ranch location. Of course I was upset so I called the gym manager at Avery Ranch and he said he could cancel but they still had to charge me. I told him several times that I had called the same number that I originally called to set up membership and all he kept saying is there is no record. DO NOT USE FITNESS 19!!!! The employees will tell you whatever it takes to get you off of the phone and it ends up screwing you in the process. I can see why this gym has so many complaints. I don't normally post complaints but this warranted one. Take my advice and go somewhere else. more

I like Fitness 19 because when I joined up at the gym, a manager who was on staff, John Star, showed me how to use the machines and how to lift weights. This has helped me control my diabetes and helped with my blood pressure. The greeter at the gym I go to (Clint) greets me by my name, and I think when they greet you by your name when you come in, it makes it that much more personal. more

I've been to a lot of gyms and never have I felt so at home on day 1 of walking into a new gym as I did walking into Fitness 19 in Avery Ranch. Great equipment, staff, and environment. more

The cheap membership not worth other drawbacks!!Yes, it?s cheap and there?s no contract. If that?s all you care about, this gym is for you. I have my head open from a weight machine that malfunctioned. 36 stitches, Later I canceled our membership.?that took 5 months to cancel ...? more
