Orange Plaza Optometry

I have to say, people actually love to take time to bash any office they can and write all over the internet about it. I think this is so immature on their part. One bad incident, and Boom!!\r I have to say, ever since I came back for my yearly exam with Dr. Navarro, and ""NEW STAFF"", I have been very pleased and even the Doctor seems much happier and smiles all over the place. I was greeted and treated with great customer service and pleased with my exam and my order. I have since then, gotten a prescription recheck and having to replace my frames due to a manufacturer's defect, everything went quite smoothly for me. I will definitely encourage ""ANYONE"" looking to find great service and helpful people, TO VISIT THE OFFICE AND PROVE IT TO YOURSELF.... BAD REVIEWS?? This place is the WORST place I have EVER done business with!!! Please do not go here! I went there because I had a problem with my eye. Although it had not been a year since my last exam I thought I better get it checked out. I was bullied into buying 6 months of contacts and brand new glasses. $470 later. Went back 8 times and made a number of phone calls telling them that I was having problems with my contacts and my glasses had ""impression marks"" on them and I was unable to wear them. After the 8th trip I finally asked for my money back they told me that I had signed a paper stating I was aware they did not give refunds or exchanges. They wouldn't give me a copy of what I signed. They asked for the glasses and told me that they would have the doctor review my case and they would get back to me. I called and called for about a week and they kept telling me the doctor was too busy to review my case. So I called my credit card company to fight the charges. They gave my credit card company a different story and I a screwed out of $470. So I had to go to a different eye doctor who discovered that Dr. Navarro had given me a wrong prescription and that the contacts he gave me were cutting off the oxygen to my eyes. more

DO NOT recommend! My experience with this office has been a NIGHTMARE. I purchased expensive frames from Orange Plaza Optometry with the employees' assurance that they were wide enough for the progressive lenses I planned to purchase elsewhere. Once I had the lenses put in, I found I was unable to see properly and was told from experts it was due to the frame size. I asked Orange Plaza Optometry for a refund on the frames and they refused. I left a message for the owner to call me and never heard from him. Customer service is extremely poor.\r \r I asked employees if the business was accredited by the BBB and they said it was. I found out this was untrue and they actually have an ""F"" RATING with the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. Had I known this and read the poor online reviews about this business, I would never have purchased from them. more

My husband had an eye exam and ordered glasses. The condition of his eyes was never discussed. When he ordered the glasses, they just said initial here and here and sign here. They never explained that there were no refunds. When he got the glasses, he was seeing double of everything. Upon returning to the eye dr., he found out that thats the best they could do with his particular prescription. When we asked for a refund, we were told that he initialed were it says no refunds on the form. He could not see what he was signing and nothing was explained. What a RIPOFF !!!! The girls in the office were RUDE and unconcerned about the over $300 we wasted !!! more

This place is the worst. They give you the wrong prescription, they barely test and check your eyes, the receptionist is mean and rude and the selection of glasses is meager and of low quality. They also force you to buy the glasses there and refuse to give you the prescription so you can buy it somewhere else. I don't recommend this place. more

I got my contacts with Dr. Navarro and was able to wear them without any discomfort. This is the first time ever. I have dry eyes and have had problems with vision and comfort in the past. The best part is that I can see far and near just like with my bifocals. Thanks Dr. Navarro more
