air conditioner maintenance visit 6/11/2016

I have been a customer of One Hour for over 27 years. I have never been unhappy with their service, products, or service persons. I have recommended One Hour to several friends and neighbors. They have never let me down, which to me is the utmost important thing. more

Friendly, Professional, Knowledgeable Service 5/26/2016

Jimmy provided great service on a recent repair call to fix our A/C. He quickly diagnosed the issue and provided a couple of alternatives to get it back in working condition. When we discussed how to extend the age of the A/C unit (a 35 year old unit installed by the founders of One Hour Heating & A/C in Elk Grove), he suggested a couple of approaches. I opted for the surge protector to remediate any additional wear and tear on the compressor. In 35 years of dealing with this company, I have been delighted with their friendliness, professionalism, and expertise of their field staff. more

Semi yearly system check up. 5/10/2016

Appliance Repair 4/14/2016

Thank you, Rose, for setting me up with an appointment that fit my schedule. Thank you, Jose, for working so hard on my furnace and A/C. Also, thanks for helping with setting up payment plan with Wells Fargo for the cleaning and aero (something ?) sealing on the air ducts. Good service and helpful suggestions 4/2/2016

During an AC cleaning, the service technician, Jimmy D, noticed a calcified build up in our Air Conditioning pan. He suggested an inexpensive fix...it was something that I read about but forgot to do. The preventive maintenance tips and suggestions help keep my furnace running longer and more efficiently. Jimmy D has been servicing our Heating and Air Conditioning for years. It's like having a family member service our needs. more

Quick Service and resolution 3/10/2016

I installed my own humidistat and wired it to my furnace. All went well until I turned on my A/C. The continuous fan did not work. I tried reconnecting a wire resulting in a blown fuse making my furnace inoperable. I called One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning at 3:00 PM. Rose immediately dispatched Jimmy D. He came within an hour and a half after finishing another call. Although I had caused the problem he quickly repaired the problem. He commended me on the humidistat install and explained exactly what was the problem. It is like having a friend in the family who knows heating and air conditioning. I will ask for him on my next servicing. I have been using One Hour for years and have always been pleased with the service and the technicians' expertise. more

Maintenance and repair services 1/4/2016

Our service agreement with One Hour Heating & A/C not only gives us peace of mind that our furnace and a/c will always work when needed, it is super convenient. When we are due for an inspection/ tune-up, Rose gives us a call and schedules the service at our convenience. Jeff B. came out this time and arrived at the beginning of the service window. He asked how the system was working, what concerns we might have and whether we needed any of the filters changed. He then went to work and performed a thorough inspection and sent me a report by email of all the items on his checklist. All the labor was included and all we paid for were the air filter and humidifier media, which needed to be changed. As always, everyone from One Hour was very friendly and professional. more
