i have a few nice things to say about this store but mostly negative things. I went in looking for things for my daughters and i didnt even see anyone behind the counter till i walked further into the store. I saw a pregnant girl behind the counter who was really for the most part rude. Its like she didnt even want me in the store like i was bothering her.I couldnt believe how rude she was. She didnt even want to get up off her butt to help me. The other workers that were there that night were busy as an be doing things but her. The next time I went in there there was a few helpful girls there an older woman who checked me out and than there was a blonde haired girl who helped me get a few things down from up top. I would gladly go back when they are working but hope that i dont walk in when that pregnant girl is there again. The store itself is a nice store alot of selection and they are clean and great priced. more

a colorful helping hand 10/5/2011

well when i was in there with my son i was looking for a few things and there was a worker there with alot of tattoos. who i honestly passed judgement on. Who took the time to stop what she was doing to help me locate these items. Than she went back to work and when i needed help getting something down off of the top shelf she walked by again and helped me. she was a wonderful help. but when i went to check out the girls was standing up there being really rude talking really bad about another person. but over all i had a great experience and will go back all the time more

The friendliness at the Creve Coeur -Once Upon a Child has improved tremendously, and a couple of the employees seem to be gone. I had the best shopping experience ever, the last time I was in. All the girls I delt with seemed somewhat knowledgeble, but 1 girl-Stacy, I think really knew her store. I got great prices, even higher than I expected for the clothes and toys I took in to sell. The quality of the items I looked at were just like new. I will definitely make this a regular stop.--Not world class, but its a whole lot better than I've seen in a while. more

Hit or Miss 11/25/2005

I like this store sometimes, depending on the employee. There's one woman there who is very nice, others who are down-right rude. The selection is so-so. It's not as crowded as other OUAC in the area, but the clothes don't change very frequently. One word of warning: I once tried to sell some things to them. I unloaded a laundry basket and some toys on the curb, parked and took my toddler into the store while scooting in my merchandise. The employee working saw me doing all this and did not offer to help. Then she promptly told me they were not buying items at the moment. A sign on the door would have been VERY HELPFUL!!! more

    As we are a family operated/ independantly owned franchised business we do try our best to employ friendly sales associates.  Also, you will find Pat and Bill Binder  as well as Stacey our manager in the store to help with our customers needs.  One of us is there 5-7 days of the week.  If there is any item we do not have or if you would like to ask for our WISH LIST for items you are looking for, PLEASE ASK!

    We buy and sell Gently Used Kids Stuff -7 DAYS a week with some Hoildays off.  Some of the items we buy and sell are listed below.  If there is any question what items we buy and sell please Call and ask for Pat,Stacey,and or Bill. 

     Due to the Consumer Product Saftey Commission Regulations,we are currently not able to buy CRIBS,Bike Helmets,Car Seats,and personal hygiene items from our customers.  Also  items that are on RECALL by the commission,cannot be purchased for resale.  If there is any question about what we can NOT  take --Please call us. 

    WE receive daily updates from our parent company of what products are on recall.  Sure,we miss items that are on recall, BUT almost all of our buyers are parents and we only want the best for our customers as well as our own kids.  Plus we double check items and clothing,on a regular basis.(DAILY)
