They are not to good about giving you clean glasses to drink from. After drinking my Coke I noticed something sticking to the side of the glass. Small brown paper. It appears that...

Poorest of customer service 7/14/2010

We tried to ensure that their seperate room was set up and available for a business luncheon meeting so as not to disturb the other diners and after two waite staff confirmed that it would be taken care of....the business people that arrived for the meeting were seated in the main room. To add insult to injury, the service was horrible. Don't know what the food was like, there were too many complaints about the service. Cons: Staff follow thru more

Glendale CA-Broadway 1/27/2010

Just yesterday I had dinner with my family at this location and the 3 of us were sick after eating the "tour of italy". Some tour huh! The only tour I am getting is of the darn toilet! I have never been sick from any restaurants food and I was completely surprised and disgusted from the experience. This is just not accpetable and I will never return again. more

COCKR@ACHES IN MY FOOD 2/9/2009

I went to this place once, and vowed to never go back. I don't know how the food tastes, because I never got to eat mine. I ordered the jambalaya, and my friend ordered some sort of ribs. We were sitting outside on the patio, our food was served, and we started to eat. Started to. Just when I lifted my forkful of food to my mouth, my friend raised a rib to his mouth, when a C@CKR@ACH fell off of his food, onto his plate. Yes, this is a true story. My other friend that was with us also saw this, and immediately dumped out his drink to capture the r@ach with his glass so we could show it to the manager. First, the manager tried to say it wasn't a cockr@ach (it was). Then, he admitted it was a c@ckr@ach, but denied it came from the restaurant. "You're sitting outside. It probably flew onto your food." Pros: Nice meals and ambience Cons: C@ckroaches in my food more

Italian??? How could you call this Italian? 12/23/2008

The Olive Garden is as Italian as McDonalds. I take that back; McDonalds has managed to survive in Italy, but if someone were to open an Olive Garden there, they probably wouldn't make it through the first night. Pros: Machine made food always tastes the same Cons: Machine made food is never good. more

Sick, sick, sick 12/17/2008

Olive Garden is a sorry excuse for Italian Food. I demand that they stop saying that they are an Italian restaurant and stop making up Italian words. Seriously, "hospitaliano" is NOT a word in Italian!!! How insulting to those of us with Italian heritage. The food is terrible- their slogan instead of the "endless" soup and salad bowl should be Carbs, Carbs and more Carbs. They shove you full of ice berg lettuce and white bread so that you can't eat a real dinner. Wait, since their food is so disgusting, this might be a good thing. GIVE IT UP OLIVE GARDEN!!! Pros: none Cons: the food, the food, the food more

Eat fast or they'll serve your dessert before your appetizer gets cold 5/30/2008

I've eaten at Olive Garden restaurants all over the country and enjoyed them, but I will never set foot in this location again. The food quality is OK, (Macaroni Grill at Bridgeport is better) but the last few times we ate there we barely got our napkins in our laps before they were offering us boxes to carry out our leftovers. On the last trip a few months ago, our entrees arrived before we were half-way through our salad and soup, and my wife literally had her fork in her hand, taking about her third bite of her entree, when the waiter asked if she wanted a box for the rest of it. (We've concluded from our first-hand experiences that rushing people through their meals is the restaurant's policy.) We did encounter the manager in the lobby on the way out. He's probably still got blisters from the scorching my wife gave him. Avoid this place if you want a reasonably relaxing meal. Pros: Fair-to-middling cream-based Italian Cons: Lousy staff, rushed service. more

8 out of 10: Not Bad!! 4/10/2007

My wife and I were driving along I-5 northbound, and saw this place on the side of the road. We thought, "Why not." It was a cold sunny day, so they were not busy. We were seeted proptly to a quiet section, which was really nice. We started off with some simple drinks (good coffee, good coke) and some Calamari. The Calamari was great, and paired well with the dipping sauces. Our salad was also good, although the "regulars" might think differently. I ordered the "Chicken Crostina". It's a chicken breast topped with a Parmesan-potato crust. It was wonderful. The chicken was cooked well, and the crunchy top had really good flavors. The buttery flavored linguine was all right, nothing fancy. My wife ordered the "Seafood Linguine". She says the semi-flavored sauce did not go well with the 5 shrimp and the 6 scallops. But, the noodle were cooked well. The overall experiance was well, but not exceptional, due to my wife's food (although mine was good). The staff was very nice and did help us out. I am interested in coming here again, to try other foods. The atmosphere was really relaxing, even if it was crowded. I give them a 8 out of 10. Because of the over all score, we will be back to try other dishes. Thank You. Pros: Good Chicken Crostana. Cons: Not so good Seafood Linguine. more

A little skimpy on the soup, salad and breadsticks. 11/13/2006

I went to this Olive Garden for lunch today and the service wasn't too great. You expect the same food every time so you just go back and for thier all you can eat soup salad and breadsticks they get a little skimpy. They usually don't give you a full basket of breadsticks, they aren't fresh and they act like you shouldn't ask for more when it is all you can eat. They are the same with the salad they give you enough in the big bowl for half of the people you have. Pros: Same taste. Cons: Skimpy on salad and breadsticks?? more

Dirty Dishware 8/16/2006

They are not to good about giving you clean glasses to drink from. After drinking my Coke I noticed something sticking to the side of the glass. Small brown paper. It appears that the paper coasters are going through the wash and sticking all over the dishes. The waiter indicated that he knew about the problem and told the management but they wouldn't do anything about the problem. Several people in our group had this problem too. The experience ruined my lunch. I would recommend not going there since this is an on going problem and they dont seem to care. I was picking paper from my teeth so I imagine I drank a bit of the paper. Pros: It would be a good restaurant if they would clean it up. Cons: Dirty glasses - and they knew and still used them! Probably plates were the same. more

Family Hangout 5/31/2005

My whole family loves Olive Garden. I especially love their soup, salad, breadstick lunches. Their Zuppa Tuscana is the best! It makes a wonderful lunch and helps you relax before going back to work. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience. more

Hostess and service 11/25/2004

I experianced the most horrible service from a hostess and servers at this olive garden. Most of the time they wouldn't pay attention to anything I ordered, and then made me pay for their mistakes. They thought I ordered Chicken Parmesan, when i ordered ceasar salad. Then they wanted me to pay for it. Be wary of this particular restuarant. Cons: , horrible service, need new employees more

Second time I've come to an "Olive Garden". First time was great. I'm finely here, again. Where have I been? This is stupid of me, for not coming more often. I thought I had the best "Minestrone", but no, the Olive Gardens Minestrone is awesome. The Alfredo sauce is great. I love the soft fresh bread sticks, that comes with an Alfredo sauce dip, and all you want, too. The simulated Roman atmosphere, is pleasant. The wait help was the best. Very attractive, also. The deserts, are to die for. It's very hard to imagine, that this is a chain restaurant. It's in a class, all it's own. I'm very impressed. I wish there was more room, to describe this restaurant, but no. Pros: Grrreat Italian food., Wait help, the best., Lots of close parking Cons: , Solution, come early., Very, very busy. more

GOOD EVERY TIME 7/7/2003

Olive Garden is a place that you can count on for good eating, great service, and an experience that is built on values! Try the Chicken Parmigiana or Tour of Italy. These are guaranteed to be a hit with your tongue and stomach. Don't forget to get you after dinner mints to top off the meal! Pros: Mints, Salad and Bread, Persistent servers Cons: No mints on occassion, Long waits when busy, No reservations more
