My wife and I were driving along I-5 northbound, and saw this place on the side of the road. We thought, "Why not." It was a cold sunny day, so they were not busy. We were seeted proptly to a quiet section, which was really nice. We started off with some simple drinks (good coffee, good coke) and some Calamari. The Calamari was great, and paired well with the dipping sauces. Our salad was also good, although the "regulars" might think differently. I ordered the "Chicken Crostina". It's a chicken breast topped with a Parmesan-potato crust. It was wonderful. The chicken was cooked well, and the crunchy top had really good flavors. The buttery flavored linguine was all right, nothing fancy. My wife ordered the "Seafood Linguine". She says the semi-flavored sauce did not go well with the 5 shrimp and the 6 scallops. But, the noodle were cooked well. The overall experiance was well, but not exceptional, due to my wife's food (although mine was good). The staff was very nice and did help us out. I am interested in coming here again, to try other foods. The atmosphere was really relaxing, even if it was crowded. I give them a 8 out of 10. Because of the over all score, we will be back to try other dishes. Thank You.
Pros: Good Chicken Crostana.
Cons: Not so good Seafood Linguine.
