It was just a smooth transaction--the phone calls, the emails, the timeliness of it--I was very, very satisfied with Old Colonial Mortgage. I really couldn't have asked for a better transaction with them. I used them a couple years ago for my first home and then I refinanced to get a better rate, so they helped me out with that too. They're friendly, prompt, and just make everything go so smoothly. They're very polite. They got me the things I needed and I got them the things they needed. I highly recommend them. more

Absolutely wonderful. 8/2/2013

It was constant contact with Old Colonial Mortgage. They kept me updated all the time and were very prompt on answering any questions I had. They were very good about getting back to me when they didn't have the answer right away. John is spectacular. He has a great personality. That's what makes it all the more easier. I've worked with a couple different companies, no names mentioned, and they were just the best. The constant contact really made everything all the better. She still checks on me, which is great. The best that I ever worked with. Would recommend to everybody 6/11/2013

Bob and Tina at Old Colonial Mortgage were the ones we worked with. We started March 1st and the closing was May 6th. It was a difficult loan because we own several rental properties that had to be included - 12 properties in addition to our house. We went through weeks and weeks of getting the paperwork to them. They worked so hard to get it done. We had a lot of challenges. Our agent was difficult to work with. The person who did the appraisal made a lot of mistakes on the figures so we had to start the process all over again. Bob and Tina got us another appraiser. Bob and Tina were with us on the phone for hours to get information from the IRS, too. My husband and I were ready to give up. We had one problem after another and every time Bob and Tina were there getting it fixed and getting it done. It didn't matter how late at night. Bob was on vacation for part of the process and he still helped us. I would give them a 10 if I could give them a 10. They worked so hard to get it. I don't think you can find anyone who works harder to get your loan processed. more

Overall Good 6/7/2013

Old Colonial Mortgage was quick to reply to my e-mails when I had questions for them. They were good with the paper organization and did not have to ask for the same documents twice. Overall, they were pleasant to work with. more

Scott Lewis at Old Colonial Mortgage did an excellent job. He went about and beyond and kept me informed continually throughout the process. They came in below other quotes. Old Colonial Mortgage is a professional organization. It was a seamless refinance and a great experience. more

Old Colonial handled a refinance on my mortgage. They did pretty much everything over the phone, which made it very easy to finish the application on time. They offered to pick up all the information that was needed, and it was all done in a short time frame. They were excellent. more

Old Colonial had someone that used to work for them that told us we wouldn't get a loan, and finally told us that our loan wouldn't be approved. I called to get my paperwork back and found out that she wasn't at the company anymore. I talked to Justin, and he went into her files and found that our loan had been approved after all. He did everything possible to get it moving along, and did it all quickly. A bad taste in our mouth towards mortgage turned into the best experience. Justin was very efficient, and because of him I would recommend Old Colonial to everyone. more

I would recommend anyone to old colonial mortgage. They are the best place to deal with a loan. Whoever may read this review, bob, janette, and Joyce are the three greatest people! It was the people that really made my experience. The people at Old Colonial Mortgage were great! They were very friendly, did everything they said they'd do and did it right when they said they would. I would absolutely use them again in the future. Their flexibility was the greatest value for me. 5/8/2012

The main thing I remember about dealing with Old Colonial Mortgage was the great deal Bob worked out for me. I changed the route we were going to go, and he was always very flexible with that. We were going to do one type of loan, then changed our minds and Bob just went with it and I really appreciated it. When we paid down on it, we did it on the run and Bob was able to make it happen and to keep up with us. more

I found Old Colonial Mortgage in the phone book. They were pretty helpful. I had called a few other places that weren't helpful at all. I worked mainly with Scott, and he was very professional and helpful with my refinancing. It was a smooth and easy process. I would definitely use their services again. more
