Editorial review from Citysearch 11/20/2013

I had a issue between in which the 2 products would not t work together and even though the printer ink was opened and mind you there expensive. The manager understood was a gentleman , understood and did the right thing , Ive been shopping there for at least 7myears and yes wall mart is less expensive but at least I was treated like an gentle man rather than an animal, thank you ! more

Customer Service is horrible 8/27/2011

I have to say it; I like the store. It is located in a good place per the area, the store is always clean, they have what I need but there are two problems. The printing machines and computers are either too way slow or not working very often. And two, customer service is not that good. Some, (and I say some because not all of them) of the customer service people are teenagers or early 20's duds who don't have a very good customer service. I went to the store to print something out of my usb stick memory (I go there to color print stuff often and 3 out of 5 times, the printer and computer were having issues) the person took for ever to print my documents because of the printer and computer and I don't blame her for that but at the end I was so tired of waiting, all I wanted is get out of there. The person didn't give me my usb thumb memory back. When I got home I called the store and they put me on hold forever and then they just hung up. My husband then called a couple of days after that and he was put on hold for 15 minutes in total with people coming to the phone every 5 min. to say they were looking for the memory stick. After that, the dude just said he was going to call back, asked for my husband's phone number and he never called. The next day we went to the store, the poor dude at the printing desk was swamped but there were 3 other rep. dudes who were not doing absolutely nothing but walking and talking with each other and having fun. We had to wait for 45 minutes until they gave us the memory stick back. When they were ""looking"" for it, they said it was in a box somewhere else in the store. After 45 minutes I was about to ask them where in the world was that box, I was going to go wherever it was to do the search myself but when they finally decided to give it to us, it was in a box under the counter where we were at all the freaking time! Going there to color print is like pulling teeth sometimes and be careful not to get in a long conversation with the talky talky person at the printing desk because she distracts you and you can forget your memory. Don't do it because now you know, it will take you at least 45 minutes to get it back! more

AVOID 2/11/2011

I've shopped here for many years just because I was trying to avoid driving into Sanford. No more. Today was my last straw; I had purchased a telephone headset a few months ago and decided to go for the warranty because I go through lots of them (I work from home and so use mine for 8-10 hrs a day.) Mine broke after less than 6 months of use. I drove to OD, which is maybe 9 miles from my house. They would not honor my warranty. Said I had to call a number. So I called the number; they could not find my registration. Now I have to call a different number to see if they can find my receipt from when I purchased the warranty. All this for $20 headset? I bought another one while I was there simply because I had to for work capability. I also had my laptop worked on for viruses and such; $200 and I don't even have virus protection. I have to go buy one. Staples, I've never been in your store, but I'm about to start spending money there. Too bad, OD. I have three kids in high more

Too long to wait. 4/27/2010

Management staff and associate(s) were more concerned with unloading delivery material. I waited about 15 min for assistance from the only two persons that could help me in the store at the time. None was provided. Avoid this location if possible. more

Friendly and caring staff, reliable products. 6/9/2005

Shop here often for computer supplies, office furniture, and some software, stationary items. Staff is not always available but if you go to counter and ask, help is there very soon. Staff is not always knowledgeable about product but know where to get more info. I found it extraordinary when I left furniture in store for several months...no one called or bothered me to get it but almost wouldn't give it to me with receipt. Still I keep shopping here because the service is good. more
