Thank you guys at ocellos, you got me in this morning for an oil change. I normally pay 49.99 at jiffy lube, I asked for a tire rotation and oil change, they offered me a Triple play which is great - you get three oil changes with three tire rotations for only 60.00!! This is a huge difference from the quick lube places - they also gave me a complete list of what my truck will need in the future, didn't try to sell me anything other than a brake light i didn't know was out, for a whopping 10 bucks. I am so happy I found you guys, honest and didn't try to take advantage of the fact that I was a single mom and didn't really have any guys to help me with my car issues, NOW I DO!! So glad i checked you guys out, ill be back and so will my friends... I was in and out in less than an hr... Thanks guys!!!! more

I've lived in South Florida for 10 years, haven't found anyone down here I could trust for auto repair until today! Brought my 2008 Audi to Ocello's in Tamarac, I was told by the dealer at 42,000 i needed front and rear brakes ASAP. They felt fine but I wanted a second Opinion and I was recommended by a friend to try this place. Good thing I did! Bob the service manager brought me into the shop, showed me that I had 8-10,000 miles left on both my front and rear brakes, he also had his tech remove a nail from one of my tires and fixed it while I waited for less than 20.00 so I didn't get stuck with a flat. They had me in and out on my lunch break, showed me how much time I had left and gave me a written estimate to come back at the next I needed an oil change before I hit 50k. I would recommend this shop to my family and friends - so happy I found this place. Thanks Bob and thank you to Ocello's!!! more

I seriously recommend avoiding this repair shop. I took my vehicle to the shop for three consecutive oil changes, at 15,000, 20,000, and 25,000. In the first two instances, the rep called to say that additional work was needed. I am doubting that the work performed was even necessary. Upselling seems to be a common practice at this shop. At 20,000 I was told that all four brake pads needed to be replaced at a cost of over $500. Being a woman, the rep, ""Bob"", warned me not to let it go for more than two weeks. I never replaced the brakes and returned for an oil change at 25,000. The car was with a different mechanic who changed the oil, and I was told that everything else looked great! No brake issues.\r \r I grudgingly returned to the dealership for service, and I couldn't be happier. Ocello's also told me I needed a new battery, which was ruled out by the dealership. Ocello's also tacked on a $25 tire protection plan when I replaced to tires, but never informed me about it. According to ""Bob"", the charge couldn't be refunded. more

I had a coupon for oil change, filter, and tire rotation for $14.95. My car has less than 20,000 \r miles on it and is in excellent condition. After 30 minutes in the shop, I was called and told I \r needed new tires and new battery. I was told I needed new wiper blades too, even though I \r replaced them a month ago. Ocello's said they wouldn't rotate the tires due to uneven wear on one rear tire. I examined the tire and found no such wear. The dealership said the tires and battery were fine. The final charge was more than $20 after they packed on unadvertised fees. If this is the way they want to attract business from Kings Point in Tamarac, they are off to a bad start. I'm so tired of all the ""up selling,"" especially when I didn't request an inspection. How about doing honest work at the price you advertised? more

The only shop I let touch our families cars. They've done a great job keeping us on the road for 6 years now. Honest and fair. more

Wow, I Don't Know the person who wrote this review, But they could'nt be further from the truth. All of my family and I have been using the Ocello's for the last 4 years. Reliable service, fair pricing, and great communication keep us coming back. We ask for both Rob and Richie the technician who's been there for 18 years. This customer obviously lacks experience with other auto repair shops and dealers. Go to Ocello's they'll be around for 40 more years!! If you didnt have a problem with your car before, chances are you will when they're done working on it. Terrible shame that the parents and other brother set up a very reputable business over many years, and Rob has decided to alienate all the old customers and nickle and dime you and give you a two step on everything. Hard sell on everything you don't need. I never cared paying the high prices for the good service. But there ain't no "good service" at this Auto Service Center anymore. You won't find the same service tech there but one longer than a few months. Any quess why? All the folks living in the neighborhood know better than to go there anymore. So my Mother who lives in Tamara loves these guys. Evey time theirs any kind of problem with her Lexus, in it goes. The shop has been very helpful, respectful, and doesn't prey on the senior citizens. Offers shuttle service which is great. PROS: TRUST WORTHY AND COMPETENT! CONS: A little on the pricey side but worth the additional $$ for the service more

Ocello's has been recommended to us by many people-they have worked on both of our cars & are fair & honest when descibing and pricing problems. This is a great place to get your oil changed or any other small repairs you need. The prices are very reasonable and great for the price concious. The techs are very knowledgable and always know their stuff! They don't try to sell you things that you don't need. If you need to leave your car there, they have a shuttle service there. They are not open on Sunday, however. more
