Great visit. Took advantage of the 4 nights for price of 3 special. This was our 3rd stay there this year. Top part of bath sink stopper was missing. Other than that, there were no problems.\r more

We were very pleased to now see refrigerators in the rooms! We couldn't visit the restarant or lounge because it was closed due to repairs. We didn't find out why until check-out but we missed going there.\r more

Overall stay was excellent. Staff was very accommodating in meting our request to change our room to the fourth floor. The HK issue only happened that one time, otherwise they were very prompt. The restaurant/lounge issue was easily avoided by telling us at registration or posting a notice on Sunday, neither of which was done.\r more

We met another couple for a long weekend at the Ocean Plaza and just had a ball. I felt like we went back decades in time with the slower pace on Tybee. If my Iphone hadn’t of kept ringing, I could have pretended to be at the hotel in the 60’s or 70’s. I am picky when it comes to cleanliness and I don’t have anything but kinds words for the housekeeping staff at the Ocean Plaza.  They did a great job on our room every day. more

I stayed here 2 nights but I would like to come back for a week.  I was very pleased with my stay. The room was clean.  The bed was comfortable.  The location in proximity to the beach was perfect.  The staff was friendly.  Don’t pay attention to the people who complain about the parking lot between the hotel and the beach.  It’s not like you have to walk a long way.  It’s just a few steps to walk across the parking lot to get to the beach. more

My wife and I and son just got back from a stay at the Ocean Plaza Beach Resort. We were on a college visit trip to Savannah to visit SCAD, where my son hopes to attend school. We decided to make it a short beach trip. We considered Hilton Head, which is nearby, but a co-worked told me about Tybee and the better vibe that it had, so that's how I picked it. We just got a pleasant surprise by staying at the Ocean Plaza. It's on the beach. They have a really good restaurant onsite. Everything about this hotel was great for us. We're going back for spring break now! more

Wonderful Family Vacation Spot 5/5/2012

I just got back from a family vacation and had to share the experience.  The Ocean Plaza Beach Resort was in a great location on the beach and near souvenir shops and restaurants and the pier, all of which we could walk to.  The Tybee Island beach is beautiful.  This was the first time I had been to Tybee or the Ocean Plaza but I will most certainly go back. more

Great Service 6/24/2011

I would like to compliment the entire staff, they did a great job!! In particular, the restaurant manager is a true asset to their team and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure my experience was enjoyable and really first rate! I enjoyed talking with the manager and appreciated everything the staff did for me!! more
